Walmart Vision & Glasses

I really don't even want to give one star. This is my second incident with them. I received a phone call saying that my glasses were ready for pick up. They gave me the days and hours that I can pick them up. Today is Saturday, January 17. I go to Walmart vision at 1 PM to pick up my glasses, there's one girl there on her phone. I Let her know what I was there for she said the person that can you give me my glasses had something else to do and they were not there so I need to come back on Monday. What is the purpose of having a vision center when you don't have anybody available on the weekends. There has got to be somebody else that can come in for the people. That need to do pick ups and orders. It is a vision Center right? They really need to do better with their weekend staff. It's always one girl available. She's not allowed to sell glasses or give pick ups what is the purpose of being an open and telling people they can come in Saturday during business hours unacceptable!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE CHANGE THE STAFF ON SATURDAYS TO SOMEBODY THAT CAN HELP THE CUSTOMERS OR CLOSE SO WE WON'T HAVE TO MAKE COMPLAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely be going somewhere else for my vision needs. The first incident happened last year, I went to go pick up my glasses. They were not the right lenses. My doctor had on my prescription when I went to go pick those glasses up after they were supposed to be corrected. The arm of the glasses were crooked. I asked the girl can she fix them? She informed me that she is not allowed to do that. This was on a Saturday afternoon. There was nobody in there. I was on my way out of town. I explained to her that I needed my glasses fixed so I can travel. She informed me that the person that does that called off because they had something to do so I would have to wait until Monday. I'm trying to figure out how come there's nobody available on Saturdays to handle the glasses. There's only a girl in there on Saturdays that sits on her phone and she can't do anything so what is the purpose of even being open they just need to close on Saturday since there's nobody to help pick up glasses SMH I will be going to another Place to purchase my glasses room because it's always a problem here on Saturdays.

Tracy is the best! She hands down is the best experience I've had with ANY eye wear specialist. Amazing energy and you can tell she really cares about her work and customers. Great selection on glasses and the process was fun and easy.

Seems there is always a staffing issue. Either closed or the employee on site can't do anything

I had the best experience at this location! My young daughter had to get glasses for the first time and Tracey was so great! She was so patient with the whole process and took the time to help us pick out the perfect frames. She walked me through the insurance process as well. I was super pleased and will definitely be back in the future.

Very nice lady there helped me fix my glasses. I was looking for a new frame because the left handle on my eyeglasses had fallen off. But they said they didn't have any in stock that would fit my current lenses. Instead she offered to fix my glasses for free by gluing in the handle and now it works almost as good as new. I highly appreciate that effort!

I went to two Walmarts. One said he couldn't do anything without the optician who wouldn't be back for forty minutes. The second one said they don't open til next week while physically sitting there. I'm done

Decent price, but they won't give your PD so you can order glasses online. Also, they had trouble with my high index lenses. After waiting a week for them to come from lab, the coating came back with lines in it the first time, so they had to send them back. Took another week and a half and they came back with lines still, not as bad and only in one eye. I gave up getting it fixed as I didn't want to wait weeks again and still have them be messed.

Doctor refused to give my daughter contacts because he said her nails were too long. They aren't even that long.
