Albemarle Eye Center

Yesterday, annual vision checkup for wife and I. Arrived on time, taken right in. The young lady technician that did the eye exam was very considerate and informative. Of course, nobody enjoys having their eyes dilated. Met with the Doctor for his feedback after the initial exam, got his opinion and recommendations. No considerable decline in my vision since last exam. Very nice gentleman. Took a couple of minutes to outproces, with another very nice member of the team. Probably there around 40-50 minutes for both my wife and i to inprocess, have the eye exam. Meet with Doc for the second part of the exam and then to out process. Quick, clean and accommodating. Of course, i spent the rest of the day squinting from the eye drops, small price to pay.

Equipment is old and Eye Technician was not gentle when applying drops. Did not like lack of privacy when asked to sit in an eye exam chair in front of other patients in a side waiting room. Got alcohol all over my face because attendant did allow equipment to dry after sanitizing. Doctor was nice and seemed knowledgeable though. My prescription for glasses had my road name totally incorrect even though I gave them the correct spelling on my paperwork. Other than that, receptionist was nice and they have a pleasant waiting room in the lobby area.

Came in for my annual eye appointment and was greeted by really nice ladies at the front desk, I didn't have a super long wait time, and had a really speedy and thorough eye exam. The staff was really kind and friendly, and they answered all my questions I had. And then I picked out some cute glasses in the optical center and the lady that helped me in there was great as well! I will definitely be back next year for my next appointment

I have trouble with the eye drops, and the young woman did an excellent job, no drops running down my face. Tonya was very pleasant and effecient as usual. The doctor was great and recommended a Rx to help with my nearsightedness.

I've been doing business with them 20+ year and when they say they will call you back that's what they should do...timely....not send An email 2 days before the end of the year when benefits expire saying too late for an appt!!!!!never gotten an email from them..don't even check email regularly! What kind of way is that!!!!!

The staff and doctor were excellent. All were kind. Made me feel like I was one of their family of patients.

Eye tech young lady was well knowledgeable pleasant and very concerned about my eyes. Felt very relaxed under her procedure
