After spending the better part of two years fighting with the VA, I decided to go out of network and I am sure glad I did. Dr. Balch and the eye center team were quick, efficient and very friendly. Exceptional team!

The eye care center at cross creek mall is absolutely one the the very best places to go for exceptional eye care. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they understand all your eyecare needs. Dr. Balch is just truly amazing, and after you see him, you will leave feeling amazing. Never disappoints!! I just love the ECC @ccm.

Excellent Care and Amazing Staff! I recently visited the Eye Care Center and had an absolutely outstanding experience. Dr. Charles Balch was fantastic. He was incredibly thorough, patiently answering all of my questions and taking the time to ensure I understood everything about my eye health. The rest of the staff deserves high praise, too--they were all genuinely wonderful and made the entire process seamless and pleasant. A special thank you to Gabby for her help! Choosing new frames can be overwhelming, but she was knowledgeable, supportive, and helped me pick out a pair I absolutely love. I highly recommend Dr. Balch and this entire team for anyone needing top-tier eye care!

I have always went to EyeCare center on Ramsey St , this time I went to cross creek Mall and when I say the service for both is ALWAYS 10/10, everyone works together as a team and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I also voiced my concerns to the Doctor and he had a solution immediately. I definitely recommend !

Dr. Balch and the staff in the office are great but their billing department leaves a lot to be desired. I paid at the time of my appointment for my services and for my new glasses. I came back two weeks later to pick up my glasses (still happy), and after about 3 more weeks I received a text saying I had an outstanding bill. I thought it was a scam and reported it junk. I received an email a couple of days later again saying that I owed $133 for my visit. Confused, I called the number at the office and went through the options. I was sent to an offshore service that barely spoke english and could not explain in detail why I owed more money AFTER my visit was compete for almost a month. After another call I was able to receive another version of my billing statement. It STILL did not detail why I owed an additional $133. The math didn't even work out on the document. I called the number, and again was sent to an offshore call service, and all they would say is, "your insurance didn't pay what we thought." I have reluctantly paid a bill that came a month after I had my appointment and follow up because I don't want to affect my credit. Because I still have not been able to have a detailed explanation of what was/was not paid by my insurance to explain why I owe the additional payment I will 99.9% certainly be going to a different eyescare provider in the future. The medical care was great....the billing/customer service after was awful.

ON THE DAY OF MY EYE APPOINTMENT. NOVEMBER 6, 2025. Entering to the Front Desk, Receptionist was very nice and helpful. The young man that called me to do my eye testing was very nice and caring, the young lady who did my blood pressure and checked my eye pressure and had me look into some machines was very nice. Eye doctor Jacqueline, like my name, I really like her and she very caring and funny. She had me lol! Jacqueline made me feel very comfortable, knowing about my vision. Most of all Dr Baluch. Outstanding, Believer in Christ Jesus, who has great manners concerning my eyes and thorough, compassionate, caring. He doesn't take my insurance and I said I don't care I will pay out of pocket cause he really takes good care of my eyes. He says my eyes are special, and they are!! KUDOS TO THE TEAM!! EYECARE CENTER! PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! OH the young lady who checked me out she was awesome and helpful! HARD WORK DEFINITELY PAYS OFF!!

I had a great experience at this eye doctor! Dr.Balch does an amazing job explaining everything in detail. All of the staff were very kind and helpful! Definitely would recommend
