The staff are incredibly rude. Not the front desk or eyeglass people but, the actual medical staff. Plus the wait time is wayyy too long. The worst was the Dr. We will be going elsewhere

I received excellent care at this office by the administrative staff and especially by John Ross. He taught me how to put in and take out contacts, and he helped me find a back-up pair of glasses as well. He is the most patient man, and incredibly kind and personable. This amount of patience and kindness is not often found, and I'm so grateful. He gave me all the time I needed and did not rush me at all. He is encouraging, and he's a great teacher. He's very knowledgeable and experienced in the optical world. I could not recommend Mr. Ross more; he's excellent at his job and truly cares about people.

Sometimes we don't know how good someone is at their job until something goes wrong. John Ross rose to the occasion and corrected a problem that was basically my fault. He did so with professionalism and courtesy. John is a great listener and excellent at his profession. Thank You John !!!

The ONLY reason for giving this place 2 stars is because of the lady takes the kids back to dilate their eyes, she was fabulous. HOWEVER, the eye doctor was extremely short and seemed annoyed by my questions. I called back to make a follow up appointment because my child is dealing with something related to his eye and she said call back if it gets worse. I call back and leave a voicemail and never heard from this place again. We got referred somewhere else and they worked us in the same week. This place is a joke. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

My children have been going here since years ago!!! Dr. Young, he don't play!! He will be honest and examine you/child and tell you if you can see or not. My younger daughter complained that she couldn't see the board and other things..we thought she just wanted glasses which is exactly what it was!! Dr. Young examined my daughters eyes. He looked at her dad and I and said, she's faking she can see. He asked her why she told a fib to her parents and she said she didn't know! Ha *UPDATE* Dr. Young has RETIRED. None of the previous staff is working there anymore either. The wait time is hella long and is something you wouldn't be used to as a patient from the past at Pediatric Ophthalmology. My son's appointment was at 9am and we didn't leave until 12pm. They have nothing for younger kids like books or anything to keep them preoccupied during their extensive wait time. (I did make a suggestion to staff about this) The staff and Dr herself seem unorganized but, that's neither here nor there.

I literally was there 3 hrs for my son eye exam. He fell asleep in the waiting room. It was ridiculous!! Katherine from Kid Specs was the worst she was rude, short with answers, cutting me off she was he worst.She even asked my healthy son who was not coughing, sneezing, or anything he didn't even clear his throat. She Requested that he wear his mask when She Did not have one on herself No one had a mask on besides my son and me no other customers not the front desk staff No one. I asked her why she would request that and she said oh its a habit. So you work with the public In the public and you ask the customer to wear a mask instead of wearing one yourself (Really Katherine) I took my healthy happy 7 year old and went to Guilford Eye Center where our choice to choose them was appreciated, we were respected and we received better deal. I will Never spend my money at Kid Specs because of Katherin and her Bias Habits!!

Highly rated for nothing!!! Show up 15 minutes early to my sons appointment for a simple eye exam and don't come out until 3 hours later! Horrible management at this place! Get your stuff together or close shop! Terrible! If I could rate 0 I would!
