Family Eye Care

WOW is all I can say about this Doctor and those employed here.. After losing our health insurance along with a high paying job our family was forced on the local Medicaid program for benefits. Apparently this practice feels that those associated with this type of coverage are to be looked down upon and treated differently than those with regular coverage. After my 17 yr old daughter came home from her appointment in tears from the doctor telling her that she really was an idiot I should have known not to send her back, but without private insurance we were limited to where we could seek treatment. While asking for a "Sample" pair of contacts (which are given by the Bausch&Lomb rep for this purpose) we were quickly told that "if we didn't have enough money to fill the entire prescription then we needed to go elsewhere". Maybe I'm confused on the ethical practices and policies in effect for NC doctors, but when mentioning the ethics board to them I was quickly hung up on.. Moral of the story here.... If you're looking for an eye doctor with good bedside manner and willing to go the extra mile to help those in need, this isn't your guy.!!

They don't answer the phone and don't know how to fix anything ...
