Family Eye Care: Dunn Peter K OD (InFocus Eyecare Muirs Chapel)

I've been going to Dunns for almost a decade and my oldest daughter also is a client here. The customer service and quality of the people working there has gone down tremendously. I'm even currently on the phone trying to get them to pick up as I type this. The last time I spoke to someone, she was so impatient and condescending. I've called now a total of 14 times this morning trying to place a contact order and no one picks up. This is not the first time those women upfront are leaving the phone to ring. This is unacceptable as a family owned business and I will be leaving and going elsewhere. Enough is enough

The Dr was fabulous. She is so friendly and also did great with my grand daughter. I truly recommend her. You will not be disappointed. The lady at check out was great. Thank you for making this easy.

I had an eye exam about 2 years ago. I was very pleased. I got a reminder that I need an exam. I can't reach ANYONE in order to schedule. I've called multiple times and the m message always says that they're busy helping other clients. The message also says that my call is very important to them , which I find very hard to believe. I have left messages for them to call me and even email them and haven't heard back

Well I showed up on time only to find out that my appointment had been lost. I will say this that the administrator was able to find the appointment and move me through. The rest of my appointment was more than satisfactory. Just the initial shock of we don't have you down for an appointment. Hopefully all these bugs will be worked out in the next week or two. Dr Taylor Dunn Jacobson is a true pleasure to work with and answers all concerns professionally.

Dr Taylor (Dunn) Jacobsen is amazing. She has helped me so much. She has a true talent. Her staff is a complete nightmare! It takes weeks to get your overpriced glasses back. The front desk staff hates work and life for that matter. Well maybe not literally, but they are rude and give wrong information. They are completely useless and unhelpful. They have bad attitudes and don't own up to their mistakes. They are working the poor optical manager to death. She is such a sweet lady and doesn't deserve to be used this way. I can't give 1 star because there are good people there, but today I had an issue with my bill and they treated me like a straight up criminal. I was like what! I just think that it's time to move on. If you want to give them a try you should. You may have a better outcome because it used to be a wonderful place. The operative word is USED to be. Good luck and happy clear vision.

I had my eye exam last October 2025. It is now March 2026 and do not have my glasses to date. What makes it worse my insurance will only pay for one exam per year and the other places that I have called will not let your insurance pay for the glasses if you did not get the exam.

Very nice little place never even knew it was there! Extremely personal environment, family-like at home atmosphere! Best eye Care group I've been to the past 35 years. They have some of the best technology in so that you can have a full comprehensive testing on how bad your eyesight will be And how there you're going corrected with glasses! I personally recommend adding in the transitions to lenses just in case you forget your sunglasses while you're out. Don't hesitate to stop by and talk to Dr. Dunn, he is one of the best eye doctors I've had.

I used to love the eye doctor that I saw when I first started going to this practice. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional but when he left, I started seeing Dr. Dunn who is one of the rudest men I have encountered. His demeanor is curt and abrasive, and he acts like a petulant child if you question anything he says. I'm amazed that a grown man in this profession thinks it's acceptable to act this way. I felt so uncomfortable with his verbal aggression that I walked out before he could test my eyes and he still filed with the insurance even though the only person that looked at my eyes was the assistant. Beware!
