Miller Vision Specialties

My family has been going to Miller Vision for many years. I've seen all three Doctors... all great. Sally Miller is fantastic and has taken incredible care of me as my eyes have aged and have had some issues. She takes her time and is never in a rush. 10/10

I got glasses at another store, but these guys were kind enough to replace my very uncomfortable nosepads for free! Also had some nice clip on sunglasses I got. Thanks ladies!

I recently had my vision examined at Miller Vision Specialties and I purchased new eyeglasses. The staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. It's a beautiful facility with excellent lighting. New technology meant that they didn't have to dilate my eyes, which has always been my least favorite part of the process. Dr. Steven Miller noted the beginnings of cataracts, but I was relieved to learn that surgery is not yet necessary. They provided great help choosing a new set of handsome frames that didn't break the bank. I just picked up the new eyeglasses. The progressive lenses are perfect, so the lab that they use must be top notch. And with my Medicare Advantage vision benefits, my out of pocket costs were very reasonable, much lower than what I have paid at national chains in the past. To sum it up, every aspect of my experience at Miller Vision Specialties was first-rate. I recommend them without hesitation or qualification.

I can't thank Dr. Steven Miller enough! His office was closed, but he still came in on a Saturday to see me within 20 minutes after I called. I had a scratched eye and was in a lot of pain and barely could open my eye, but he was so kind, professional, and caring. I left his office feeling so much better. Truly above and beyond service and I'm extremely grateful for his help. Highly recommend him! Thank you very much!!

This low rating is no reflection on my experiences with Dr. Steven Miller, who has been my eye doctor for 8 years. I always had positive experiences with him and all the office staff; no complaints. All were knowledgeable, kind, and professional. However, this year, I placed a call to the front office asking for some information from my my file so that I could purchase my frames online (my insurance only covers lenses or frames, and I had ordered my lenses through the office previously a couple months before). The office worker, I believe her name was Judy, became very short with me. She was clearly irritated for some reason. She said she couldn't access the account information. I'd have to make an appointment. I told her I had just recently had my check up and only needed a number from my chart. She refused to do it, and said they weren't allowed to give out the information. I said I had gotten said information from other people in the office before with no problems. Eventually she put me on hold and looked for the information and found it. I do not have a transcript of what exactly was said to me by Judy, but the whole conversation left me upset to the point of tears. After eight great years working with this office, I won't be coming back unless I do not have to interact with this employee at all; realizing it's probably impossible to be assured of this, I will probably have to start over again and find another eye doctor. Hopefully the doctors take note and require a higher standard for their front office employees; such behavior has no place in an office as otherwise excellent as Miller Vision.

I've been going to My Eye Dr. for the past few years and have had ok service, but I tried to get contacts last year with My Eye Dr. and had a terrible experience. We tried to get the contacts in for probably an hour and could not. So, we switched to Miller Vision. They were so patient and made sure that contacts were something that I wanted, even asking my mom to leave the room. Fantastic customer service, especially Dr. Steven Miller, Katie, and Susan. Katie helped me with my contacts and I literally was able to get them in the first try. Susan is so knowledgeable about the fit of glasses and very helpful. I would highly recommend Miller Vision!!

I am so glad I found Miller Vision. As soon as you enter, you will feel welcomed. The front desk receptionist greeted me with a smile and explained the intake forms since it was my first visit there. The lady who called me to the exam room was very informative on what she was doing and explained everything while she performed it and Dr. Stephen Miller took his time with me, did not rush and was honest on suggestions that he provided. Lastly, Dawn assisted me with purchasing eyeglasses by giving her honest opinions - I didn't feel pressured to purchase and she help me pick out a reasonable priced pair that would cost me little to no money out of pocket after insurance coverage ($20!!) she informed me of the warranty coverage and everything that I needed to know before I purchased. Thank you so much for making my first visit at your office a pleasant one!

Even through we are going through a very difficult and unknowing, economics a ever changing and unpredictable situations almost daily. Its good to have someone you can depend on who continually changes to better meet the needs of the patient. I have gone to several places lately hoping to get my glasses adjusted and seeking wisdom I just don't have myself as my vision has started getting worse. The Staff at Miller Vision On Lawndale Drive are doing their very best to accommodate the needs of their patients. I put off coming in the office out of respect to the virus a the risk it brings to others. When my eyesight gotten to the point I could not read my prescriptions I had to call Miller. The staff have always gone above and beyond to service any needs I have had in the past, and have been very friendly and patient with me as they either did an adjustment or minor repair to my glasses. Over the last several years I have grown to respect and trust Dr. Steven Miller Junior. This past week I found systems in place for social Just insane as I approach the door to the office. I was instructed to wear my mask and gloves as Dr. Miller took the time to explain and listen, truly listen to any needs that I have so he knows what would be the best treatment. I would highly recommend Miller Vision to anyone that has vision needs or questions. The office is easy to get to and has plenty of room to move around for people with disability's like myself.Dawn did an outstanding job fitting me for my new glasses and was very patient and answering all my questions.
