I have gone to the same optometrist (Dr. Poole) for 20+ years and have always been delighted with his outstanding care and professionalism, so I moved with him when he joined MyEyeDr some years ago. My experience since then has been like interacting with two unrelated companies. The medical side: same doctor, just as great as ever, competent staff. The optician showroom: a disappointment from Day 1, a total mess. The ordering experience has never been pleasant and assistance was always hard to come by, but today was the final straw. Why keep doing this to myself? Why spend time and money with a business that seems utterly unconcerned with customer service or reasonable prices? I will never buy a pair of glasses from MyEyeDr again. I intend to stay with my optometrist but buy eyewear elsewhere. (My rating is an average: "5" for the medical side and "1" for the optician business. They are that far apart despite occupying the same building. They need separate ratings, but unfortunately there is no way to do that, and I don't want to disparage the medical side in any way. No need for details on the customer service side, except to say that I've experienced some of the same problems as other reviewers list here.)

Dr. Poole and Kayla were great. Claire took the time to explain everything I needed to know and look for the best price on glasses and was a pleasure to talk with. Did not feel rushed at all. Recommend giving them a try.

Great experience from start to finish! Don't let the lower rating deter you. Online booking was fast and simple, and they handled my insurance info clearly. The test technician, Dr. Swafford, and Savanna in the optical department were all very friendly. Dr. Swafford is an excellent communicator--very thorough and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

My visit to the MyEyeDoctor office in Hendersonville NC was extremely pleasant. From the receptionist at the front desk, the nurse, Dr. Swafford, to the young lady who helped me with my frames, they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were helpful and kind. I usually go to the Arden office but I will be going to the Hendersonville office from now on.

Dr Swafford and Claire are great! Claire was patient and knowledgeable in helping me choose frames which are flattering and great for my vision and lifestyle. When I later encountered difficulties with the glasses, Claire worked with me to resolve the issue. I highly recommend them.

Lauren is a blessing!!! My favorite pair of glasses was destroyed after a. Purple of months.. Came in and she took such good care of me . Got an even better pair . Even shipped them to a different store for easy pick up Absolutely Love Lauren.. Outstanding customer service and assistance was top notch. Ty Lauren

Last week I was there for an appointment. They put my son and I in the eye exam room and after an hour we were still waiting to see the doctor. They told me it would be a while longer so I left a bad review and left. Instantly, they replied to my comment, sent me an email and called me wanting to talk about my experience. I called back, they did not answer so I left a message. It has been almost a week and they have not reached back out AND by the looks of it my last review has been has been removed! I WILL NEVER BE BACK. We have been there for 3 appointments. All have them have been excessive wait time in my opinion but this was ridiculous.

I had to bring an elderly friend in to get his glasses repaired. I believe he fell again and knocked the glass out again. This is our 3rd time coming in for this in the past 4 months. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
