Dr. Cosmin Negrut

I just called to make an eye examination with Dr. Negrut for glasses and contact lenses. I explained to the receptionist that my right eye had been watery that included a discharge and that I had been to urgent care 2 weeks ago where they gave me an antibiotic/steroid drop that helped a bit but that I was still having issues and needed to find out what was going on. The receptionist tone completely changed and said that Dr. Negrut would not see me until that was cleared up. I explained it was not pink eye or conjunctivitis. She said she would have to talk to Dr. Negrut and call me back but he most likely would not see me until the issue was cleared up. A few minutes go by and sure enough the abrupt and rude receptionist called me back and informed me Dr. Negrut would not see me until my eye was cleared up and suggested I go back to Urgent Care. Besides the rudeness and unwillingness to help, it completely blows my mind that an EYE doctor would not see me for an EYE issue, unbelievable. Think twice before seeing this provider if it is anything outside of his comfort zone which obviously is just basic eye examinations.

Dr Negrut got my prescription exactly right. So patient, informative and knowledgeable. He is great at his craft and I appreciate him so much. I just picked up my new glasses today and I didn't realize how blind I was!! Thank you so much Dr Negrut!

I needed a last minute appointment, same day. Other more "known" places thought I was nuts. But he and his receptionist found a way for me to be seen. I was not rushed, and they were both fantastic. It is a very small operation inside Sam's club, but I loved that because it was personable. I had a thorough exam, and left with some very needed contacts. You do not have to be a Sam's club member to go there. I will definately keep using him as my eye doctor hands down!

Dr. Negrut is extremely professional and respectful but also knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions I had. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at his office. Location is also very convenient. 10/10 would recommend with no hesitation.

I've been going to him for years. There were a couple times I had to go somewhere else because of insurance... I've been to Greystone where they've messed up my prescription and I paid out of pocket after to go back to Dr. Negrut after because he's always gotten it right.

I call to ask about do they cover my insurance and they said no and any other one I mentioned she said on but I looked and saw they do cover my insurance

Young doctor Cosimin is pretty nice, listens attentively.
