Dr. Kiser is a great person. However, I had an appt at 10:45. I arrived at 10:30 filled out all my paper work. Had the basic exams done"looked in the machines" well it's now 11:59 and I have yet to see the doctor. When will doctors realize they are not the only people who lives by a schedule? I hate to say it but I will be changing eye doctors. I had to cancel 2 appointments with paying customers due to their lack of service. Good Doctor bad bussiness.

If you make an appointment, it's only a "pre appointment" unless you call them from a snail mail card. If you confirm via email or text, you are screwed as their electronic notification has a "glitch" that they don't bother to tell you about until you show up and have no appointment. Moreover, they don't care how much it inconveniences you. This shows they're too big now and cannot take care of their regular clients as I've been with them for years. Beware.

Had a really great experience with Melanie. I lost my glasses while on vacation and didn't have a back up. I was long overdue for a visit to an eye doctor and Melanie's staff was able to squeeze me into her schedule given my predicament and she even sent me home with some free contacts to get me through my vacation. People are complaining about the staff but I found everyone to be very pleasant.

Dr. Kiser is kind and experienced. I trust her with my vision care and my family's vision care. I wear rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Dr. Kiser fits me with lenses that are right for me. I had a horrible contact lens experience at Graystone Eye. The technician asked me what my prescription was. He didn't know what he was doing. I will never have a contact lens exam at Graystone Eye again. At Graystone the technician attempts to do a contact lens exam. At Kiser Eye Care, Dr. Kiser does the contact lens exam and writes a contact lens prescription that you can fill at Lenscrafters. I highly recommend Dr. Kiser especially for contact lens prescriptions and fittings.

Waited over an hour and a half just to be seen. I went to get a prescription for contacts, they gave me a prescription for eye glasses instead. I didn't realize it until I went to order contacts almost a month later (they sold me a pair of monthly contacts). Now their office is closed and there is no telling when they will open back up again because of Covid-19. I can't get ahold of anyone. They also charged me $80 for the ONE pair of monthly contacts that I took home that day. Which is an INSANE markup. I'll probably have to go get another eye exam so I can get the RIGHT prescription that they were suppose to give me in the first place. My insurance will not pay for two exams, so I'll have to pay out of pocket.

Customer service is bad and if you sit in the waiting room, many patients are displeased for waiting too long to see the doctor. Went for a contacts appointment and had a follow up the following week. I was not informed of where to order contacts, my options, and Kiser was out of the office for my follow-up so the substitute doctor gave me more info than she ever did and was very surprised Kiser didn't tell me that before. I left for a practice in Charlotte (Providence Eye). Kiser never told my father about his eye issues and he found out during a lasik consultation and that doctor was surprised Kiser didn't make him aware of his eye issues. Please avoid. Would give 0 stars if possible and I would like to call the board on her but unsure of who to call. How does she not tell patients they have cataracts???

Go to Graystone. I switched over to kiser eye care a few years ago. About two weeks ago I started experiencing blurry vision, but to them my eye looked "healthy" from the outside. Yes they were able to schedule me in last minute. However, don't waste your money for them to turn you away. Spent 50 dollars with insurance just for them to tell me they couldn't help me, because they didn't have the technology. They referred me over to graystone, paid them the same amount and had results the same day. She had asked me if I knew what MS was and I didn't know what it was until I googled it after I kept asking what it was. She said I wouldn't have ms since I didn't know what it was or if I knew my family has had it. Go to Graystone. You'll be treated alot better and get results instead of them turning you away. Only good thing about this place was last minute scheduling. Out 50 dollars and wasted work time, nothing you can do.

The receptionist that I had an encounter with was rude and had poor customer service. First come first serve regardless if you had an appointment time. Waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Most likely won't return and won't recommend any friends or family members to come to those office.
