I took my grandson in for an exam. They did a pretty good job. The only problem we had was no frames for him. We were looking for the sports frames but they did have any for kids. Spent 69.99 well 10.00 was the insurance deductible. Their prices seem fair. The place is more geared for adults.
My mother and I have both bought glasses from here before, so we figured why not go in and see if we could make her an eye appointment. Now, I understand when the employees are with customers and are busy. Not one of the two in the lobby even acknowledged us. While waiting, I saw a lady in the very back carrying boxes down a hallway, once again, nothing said to us. Then, the icing on the cake was when an employee came in street clothes and gave either her friend/family member her glasses. Again, not acknowledged. What harm is it or how much effort does it take to say hi, welcome, wel'll be with you in a moment, or at least something? Seriously lacks great communication and customer service, so we walked out and will take our business elsewhere
I won't be going here again. I ordered contacts, and glasses, and all year I have been having headaches. Now that I am reading reviews, I am pretty sure that they did not get my prescription correct for my left eye. Probably too late to do anything about it, but I will now find a new place to go. Been coming to America's best since 2016, we lived in TX.
It was my first time here and I wasn't expecting much but they exceeded my expectations. It was quick, fast and informative. There was some tech issues when they opened but they informed me promptly they'd get to me when the system recovered. No surprise fees. I got what I was looking for and I definitely recommend.
Scheduled an eye exam and when I arrived and checked in they called my name to the back for the exam , the young lady does the preliminary stuff and says the doctor will see you soon , move to a different room and. The young lady there says the tech will be with you soon the big screen TV turns on and I am having a remote exam with the tech and the eye doctor.
Nowhere does it state that this is the way you will be examined, the entire staff stay extremely focused on whatever it is they were doing with no one in the space and seemed bothered by the fact I was there .
End result is a lot of money for glasses and no face to face with the doctor very unhappy that this is the way they choose to do business.
I have so many issues with this place I don't know where to start. First, everyone, from the receptionist, both eye technicians and the frame person, was unfriendly and barely engaged with myself and my husband during the entire course of our visit. The worst part, however, was learning I was not having an in-person visit with an optometrist. I submitted paperwork prior to the visit and nowhere did I note where it said I would not be seeing an optometrist. In fact, I listed my number one concern as being dry eye which could not be addressed because there was, literally, no doctor or anyone on the premises that could examine my eyes. Steer clear.
The experience went smoothly and as expected. Was greeted and informed on the processes for an eye exam, and they were able to confirm and review my insurance coverage. overall the appointment was under 1 hour.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Exam was easy. Very wide selection of frames. Great prices. When my glasses were ready I received a text to let me know. Pickup was easy and they fit great. Have been getting lots of compliments on them. I tell everyone to go to America's Best.
