I'm really disappointed with the Walmart Optical in Kannapolis. When I purchased my glasses, no one explained that the warranty would basically be tied to the expiration of my prescription. So even though the glasses themselves were still under the timeframe I assumed was covered, the warranty was considered "expired" just because my prescription had run out. This was never mentioned at the time of purchase, and it feels very misleading.
Customers deserve clear, upfront information--especially when it comes to warranties. Had they been transparent, I would've made a more informed decision. I won't be using this location again.

Got contacts 3 weeks ago. Right eye is perfect, left eye is very blurry. Every time i have tried to go back to get it corrected i am told they are booked up or dont take walk ins, when my contact exam 3 weeks ago was a walk in. Very rude over the phone about it. I think I'll just pay out of pocket to have someone else take care of me on this one.

I scheduled me my yearly eye examination I had to leave with pickout out any glasses I might would have liked soni just wait and enter yesterday I was told I I wasn't allowed to get my eyes measured how and why I paid for my eye exam someone please help

I will start with saying the lady that done my exam was amazing I definitely would have returned for future exams BUT when I finished and went to pick out glasses I was told the Dr wasn't affiliated with the lab and they didn't accept my insurance so I would have to pay cash for glasses which were bifocals so even with the cheapest frames almost 300.00 when I called to ask if they accept my insurance and made appointment they only said they did take the insurance iv never had to ask if the lab accepted why would anyone knowingly go for exam and not plan on getting glasses??? Now the problem is no other eye dr will make glasses using the prescription so online is only other option maybe haven't tried yet I just think they should have to make you aware the lab is completely separate and that way you would know you need to ask about the insurance with them as well!!!!! Insurance isn't cheap and only covers 1 exam per year nor are glasses cheap especially bifocals!!!! Very unprofessional and uninformed when I called several times trying to find a solution I was told they weren't aware of lab policies or which insurance they accept!!!

Terrible experience!! My insurance company website shows them as in network. Went in for the eye exam and was told they don't take my insurance for the exam just for the glasses. Went to another place for the eye exam and came back to get the glasses and was then told they don't take my insurance for the glasses. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Went to America's Best and no problems!!!

AMAZING SERVICE AND PEOPLE!!!! I was nervous, I haven't had an eye exam in a very long time and everyone took such great care of me. Ms. Annette took the best care of me making sure I had a great pair of glasses that fit well and looked great and was the right option for me. Dr. Ryan was knowledgeable and kind and fast. Also I am a bigger person so I was nervous about seat size and maybe being treated differently but HONESTLY- I couldn't of felt more comfortable. Thank you all for making my visit so pleasant.

The doctor in the eye clinic has been amazing! I felt like I was being annoying trying to find the right contact for myself. They never acted like it was even a thought! The staff there is great. We actually went to them this year because I did not like the eye doctor I chose for myself when we moved here, then I had my kids see someone else, who I also did not like due to their bad service. I have been impressed with this doctor and staff for both my and my children and my youngest child is 5 that alone can be challenging. Highly recommend him. they're only open Thursday through Saturday which is the only downfall I have found so far :)

Dr Hammon was an excellent addition to the Eye care Center. He has a wonderful sense of humor and was very helpful and thorough. I have been seeing eye doctors since I was 14 for contacts and he was one of the best. Thank you for hiring someone who actually cares about the patients and makes you feel welcome. Will definitely recommend him to friends and family.
