Mint Hill EYE

It was a seamless experience start to finish. I am a new client - the ability to schedule the appt on line was great. Ample reminders and greeted immediately and professionally. Everyone from the receptionist -> assistant -> to the Dr. ->the lady I ordered my glasses with were phenomenal! On time, pleasant, lovely office and atmosphere...I look forward to many more years of working with them! Thank you to the staff at Mint Hill EYE :)

I had such a wonderful experience at my eye appointment! The entire team was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. My eye exam was handled with ease and attention to detail. I truly appreciate the excellent care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality eye care!

Awesome visit. The entire team is amazing. Rea sets the tone for the office and she is gets it right! Meagan and Sheena (pardon any misspelling!) will you right at ease and definitely take great care of you. Then Dr.G comes in and does her amazing work. It is evident that they love what they do at Mint Hill Eye. I felt very comfortable and confident that I would be taken care of and absolutely no pressure to buy additional things for my glasses...basically no upselling. Not only am I pleased with the quality of the care I received, I am equally pleased with the purchase of my new glasses. Thank you Mint Hill Eye team!!

Dr. Girardeau is a great doctor; but the receptionist needs customer service and insurance review classes. My entire family will not go there due to fees that were being charged that my insurance carrier covers. If you come here make sure you check all the boxes that your insurance covers because the office will note share that info with you. The day of my appointment my husband was told that my kids had to get a retina photo which is $39.00 per child and it couldn't be billed. When I made the appointment the scheduler did not tell me about a retina photo but she insisted she had told me about the $39.00 required fee. My understanding of a retina photo is an option and if I refuse it then the other option is to get dilated. But NO! This office demands a retina photo and you have to pay the fee. You can not have the fee billed. So because of this demand I choose not to come here anymore. Since it was the day of my kids appointment and I cancelled due to and unexpected fee I was going be charged $50 per child. Not right!!!! So please know what your insurance covers for your sanity because you will be bamboozled.

The whole staff was very pleasant and professional. The Doctor took time to explain everything being done and showed me all the images and explained everything to me.

First and foremost, it is apparent that the office is friendly to seniors. This is something missing from many businesses - respect for elders. I feel well cared for at Mint Hill Eye. Dr Girardeau and staff are knowledgeable, efficient and instill a sense of confidence in their abilities. The atmosphere is relaxed. The cost for exam and glasses is very reasonable. I would recommend them for your eye care and spectacles needs.

I really can't say enough positive things about Mint Hill Eye. From top to bottom they are a first class business. If you're looking for a new eye doctor, I highly recommend them. Go Dawgs.

After more than a decade of not going to an eye doctor, I finally booked an appointment with Dr. Girardeau at Mint Hill Eye. Most important for me, it was super affordable and they have a huge selection of frames for any lenses. The office is cute and clean [see pics], and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. I was really impressed with how many services were offered, by the professionalism, and all the cool technological equipment! Thanks!
