I had a very nice first encounter at this business today (2023.06.05). I brought my seriously bent eyeglasses in to have them "adjusted". (Word of advice, don't fall to sleep with your glasses on.) After making clear to me that he could not guarantee that the frames would not break, he bent the metal frames back into alignment and sitting comfortable on my face. Miraculous! And the whole encounter was pleasant. The proprietor had an adorable, friendly parrot on his workbench that I didn't even notice until half way through the visit. Really cool.

The statement on their business card says it all "eyewear built by Craftsmen, not salesmen". This was my first visit to White's Opticians. Mr. Gary White, the owner and craftsman took care of my eyewear needs. He did more than that. He talked with me, asked questions, found out what it was I wanted, then matched that up with what I needed. He could have very easily sold me a pair of unnessary progressive lens glasses. Instead he sold me what I needed, what I wanted and even filed the claim with Medicare for me so they would pay for it! Because of his honesty, his value system and his care for his customers, he made very little money off me today. You can rest assured, he has a client for life and anyone I know or meet will be told that White's Opticians are the only option for quality eyewear care. Thank you Mr. White for being so unusual in today's business world!
