Travers Lasik

Incredible experience at Travers Lasik, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I wore contacts for 20+ years and I just had my procedure last week. I can say that my vision was 20/20 only 2 days after the surgery. The facility is top notch and everyone working there is extremely professional. Don't go anywhere else in the triangle area for lasik if you want quality results. Hands down the best of the best

Beware.. If for some reason you have any sort of complication they will NOT help you. They like to blame the patient if the results aren't good. I was told by their optometrist, their patient manager and by Dr Travers herself that I was a "great candidate" for my procedure. I believed them. My vision is currently worse than when I walked in the door for my consult. I am still wearing glasses and cannot see without them. I am out $4200 for the procedure and another $1500 replacing all my glasses and sunglasses with the new prescription I now have. I have expressed concerns for 3 months. Totally blown off. Told me more or less it's my fault because my eyes didn't heal well. End result. Too bad so sad. We have your money we don't care. Dr Travers did have a solution though. Charge me another $700 for an "enhancement" to correct a procedure that wasn't done right the first time. Bottom line. Horrible customer service and patient support if you need anything post procedure. They may tell you about their great success rate. Just be careful because if you're not part of their "success" group they couldn't care less about your outcome. As evidenced as well by reading reviews. Very happy to say thank you for 5 star reviews but no comments on any 1 star reviews. Completely ignored. Just like every unhappy patient.

I had my LASIK done at Travers LASIK, and the entire experience was absolutely smooth from start to finish. I'm extremely thankful to the entire team. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I didn't feel any pain at all during the procedure, and it was over in less than 10 minutes. The staff explained everything clearly and ensured I was relaxed the whole time. I'm very happy with my decision and would highly recommend Travers LASIK to anyone considering LASIK surgery.

If you are considering Lasik in NC this is the only place you should consider. Very friendly and informative staff. The whole process was a pleasure from the initial consultation up to the procedure. Dr. Travers does an excellent job coaching you through the whole procedure. Went home and slept for around 7 hours, woke up feeling great and vision was normal as soon as I opened my eyes. All and all Travers lasik was a excellenct experience!

They are really great. I went in for a free consultation and the entire staff was great. The whole process was smooth, they answered every question I had and I did not feel pressured at the end to schedule a surgery (though I did). The best part was that I went in on surgery day which meant Dr. Travers was busy while I was there, but after she was done for the day she took the time to call me and personally make sure I had all my questions answered and checked on me. 5/5 for everything and would highly recommended going to them if you are considering LASIK

I wouldn't recommend them. You are nothing more than a number. My daughter had lasik there at 19 years old. I didn't think she would be old enough but they said she was. You don't even meet with Dr. Traverse before the procedure. The first time she sees your eyes is the day of. We were told by the nurse that "we got lucky" and we were actually going to meet here beforehand. My gut was telling me to find someone else but I brushed it off because I'm an overprotective mom. I should have gone with my gut. Day of surgery was a mess, by the time it was her "turn", the mild sedative she was given was almost gone. The first eye went pretty well the second eye, she felt everything and was not relaxed at all. Daughter said Dr. Traverse was rude and seemed in a hurry. As we were leaving the office the one nurse told me "her other sedative is for her, so don't you go taking it instead." Who says stuff like that? Even if he was joking, it's nothing to joke about. Her current eye doctor recently told her she shouldn't have gotten lasik that young. Three years since the procedure, at 22, she needs reading glasses and struggles with dry eyes. My husband and I both had lasik with a doctor we saw every year and did lasik. Unfortunately he retired and we heard great things about this place. We were wrong.

Travers Lasik went above and beyond before, during and after my procedure! From the initial free consultation to the actual day of the procedure, the amazing staff were very informative and thorough. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. There aren't many physicians that actually call you after hours to answer any questions that you may have prior to your Lasix procedure and I received a call from Dr. Travers in the evening following my initial consultation. I will add that I have high anxiety and I can honestly say that the process was smooth and painless. Dr. Travers walked me through the entire process during the quick procedure. I would definitely recommend Travers Lasik to anyone. 10/10 Recommended.

Everyone I interacted with at Travers LASIK was knowledgeable and kind. They conducted a thorough initial consultation and helped me understand what to expect the day of the procedure. With each step during the surgery, Dr. Travers clearly and calmly communicated what she was doing. Even though I experienced some pain immediately afterward, it was gone by the next day and my vision was significantly improved.
