Dr Le has done an excellent job, examining both my eyes and those of my wife. She has been very effective in providing me with a very good prescription for my glasses as I have a very complicated prescription. I have had a difficult time getting in touch with the office by phone. That's the only negative I can think of.

I'd be the last one to write a good review about the Shallotte office. My wife had gone in to have her eyes checked. The Optometrist was checking her eyes and said uh oh and my wife asked her about her comment. The Optometrist shrugged it off and mentioned that she had cataracts but they weren't ripe yet. About two months later, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Another Optometrist stated that she would have seen a growth during a normal eye exam. It would have been nice if we would have known sooner. Yes, she's dead now. On another occasion, I had my eyes checked and when I asked about the billing I was quoted a price that was 50% higher than normal. When I asked about the increase, they said it was because my eyes were OK. Does that make sense to you? That's the last of my visits.

My experience was fine but my problem is I can not get them on the phone. I tried last month 6 times to call and no one ever called me back. Now I am trying again and have called twice for the last two days and no one returns my calls just like last month.

No one ever answers the phone! I have called 5 times in the last 2 days to reschedule my appointment but I can't do so, because no one is answering. So frustrating!
