Cleveland Eyecare, OD, PA

This is a first! I did not have to complete any paperwork upon my first visit to this clinic! Unheard of! Not only that, but I didn't get a robo text. I requested to opt out without knowing whether they did it or not. Whenever I've opted out before somewhere else, I still get them. I detest them. They took my information over the phone, but it was just the typical amount. I didn't have to sign anything when I got there. I just gave them my insurance card. They were friendly, helpful, and I got back with a technician within just a few short minutes. After she was finished, the doctor followed not that long afterwards. When there was an issue with my Blue Cross Blue shield flex card, rather than charging me at that time, they gave me an opportunity to contact my insurance company to get it straightened out. Most places are going to demand payment. I will be contacting them tomorrow after finding out what the problem was. It was a very pleasant experience. Even the doctor was pleasant, open-minded, kind and thoughtful. I hate going to medical practitioners. This was a rare experience. I wish all my appointments were like that. I only wish I had discovered them years ago.

I was in the area for a visit, and the silicone nose pad on my glasses broke off. I was not a customer of Cleveland Eyecare, but they looked at my glasses, fixed them, and cleaned the lenses. If I ever need to find a new eye care professional, I'll definitely come here with my business. Thanks very much Thanks again for your quick, professional service.

They are wonderful with my daughter! I brought her when she was 2 and they were so patient and caring about easing her fears. It's a little over an hour drive from me so I tried to take her to her checkup at a different eye doctor closer and I quickly learned that not all eye doctors should see young children. We went back yesterday for her follow up and I told them she was a little scared after what happened and they were amazing at getting her back to her comfort zone. Everyone at this office has been so great.

I scheduled a consultation there for new glasses. This is a local office and I needed something closer. The wait time was okay but the staff was not friendly or welcoming, to me. The doctor did not introduce himself as I was a first time patient. I think he was in there less than five mins total with me. The girl that helped me pick my glasses seemed totally uninterested and unimpressed. It was hard to even get an opinion on looks. I just prefer a better "bedside manner." If you are looking for a friendly personal experience maybe this isn't the place for you. Just my opinion though.

Amazing first experience for my little one! Went in as a walk-in first thing Monday morning for a problem over the weekend. They were very welcoming, got us back fast, and we were seen within a few minutes. What a great place!

I cannot recommend this office enough. The office is clean, the staff are wonderful and you don't have to wait 6-8 months for an appointment like other offices. Two of my sons had to be seen (ages 8&5) and the staff were great at helping the boys understand what we were doing and why. The doctor was very thorough and did very well managing two impatient boys.

I had a great experience at Cleveland Eye Care. I've worn contacts and glasses my whole life and have been to several different eye doctors. The communication was excellent and the consultation was smooth. Dr. Hamrick was great he answered my questions made my time feel useful unlike some others doctors I've been too. Will definitely be going back.

Dr Hamrick has always been thorough, but after 14 years I am going somewhere else. My glasses hurt every day and they refuse to do anything to help. You are on your own here if your glasses don't fit.
