I cannot say enough wonderful things about this office and Dr. Vollmer! He is the epitome of genuine and kind. I had an "emergency" situation with my left eye, and had never been seen by him before. I would be a new patient. I called the after hours emergency phone # and left a message, being that it was a Sunday. Within minutes, Dr. Vollmer was nice enough to ask me some questions via text message - and even called in a steroid/antibiotic eye drop prescription to Ingles for me, after I sent him a picture of what my eye looked like. In addition, he made an appointment for me to come see him bright and early that next morning to figure out what was wrong with my eye. I had originally gone to Urgent Care for this problem, where they diagnosed me with "Pink Eye" - which was incorrect. Therefore the eyedrops they had me on weren't working, because I did not have a bacterial infection. One look into my eye by Dr. Vollmer, he told me I had Thygeson's SPK Disease. I was upset and scared, but relieved that someone could finally give me some answers...a little insight on what was happening with my eye and why. The eye drops Dr. Vollmer prescribed me worked wonders! I went back for my follow up appointment on Thursday, 2/2 - and my eye was a million times better! THANKS SO MUCH FOR GETTING IT BACK TO NORMAL! The ladies at the front desk are fabulous also, very sweet and friendly! Miss Angie was very pleasant and thorough. I highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone! I will be taking my entire family there, without a doubt. Dr. Vollmer is truly the best!

I had my first appointment today at Vita Eye and I have to say it was a great experience! The girls are so sweet and knowledgeable and Dr. Patrick is very personable, knowledgeable and up with the times when it comes to eye care. Dr. Patrick has his little dogs in the office which makes it so cozy and fun. Cheyanne started my exam and was super sweet and helpful. Kaitlin helped me with my eye pressures and picking out frames and she was so straightforward with her answers which I LOVED! Angie was so nice and helpful booking my next appointment while Savanna was all smiles. I told my coworkers they need to come here and my boyfriend will be booking an appointment as soon as he can. Thank you Vita Eye!

Home is the best way to describe the atmosphere here! When you first walk in you are greeted not just a can I help you like you get from most places . Deeper in side a relaxed atmosphere is established by a lower lighting and essential oils in each exam room. Staff here really get to know you through conversation while adding to even yet a better experience. With updated equipment and a new way of establishing a relationship with the community I highly hope you will give this place the opportunity to service your needs.

Dr. Vollmer has been nothing short of a life saver for me. He has done multiple after hours emergency visits for me, taking his own time to care for his patients. He has removed 2 pieces of metal from my eyes 2 different times, and gave me instant pain relief from a very rare and aggressive eye virus. I immediately recommended him to my family after my first visit and they all have switched to his office and you should as well. You will receive nothing short of the best care available.

Dr. Vollmer and his staff are so sweet and amazing. He is on call for emergencies. Appointments are quick and simple even for sick visits. So glad my friend recommended his office to me. My kids are happy and excited when its time to go to the eye doctor. My husband and I will be switching to him when its time for our yearly visits as well.

Dr. Vollmer and the staff of Vita Eye Clinic are some of the most amazing professionals and humans that I know. Their care and expertise are second to none. Dr. Vollmer's willingness to go out of his way to care for his patients is inspiring, even seeing patients after hours when needed. His attention to detail and compassionate attention are extremely rare in the medical field. No visit is rushed, and no question goes unanswered. He has built a reputation of respect and trustworthiness that is highly admirable. Every compliment is well deserved. My family and I are deeply thankful for Vita Eye Clinic and the example they have set in our community and the exceptional care they bring to their patients.

Best practice for eye care. Dr Vollmer is very knowledgeable and relatable. He explains everything thoroughly as does his staff. You truly feel like he cares about you as a patient unlike a lot of doctors. Kelly was super friendly taking care of ordering my glasses/insurance and explaining everything clearly. Would definitely recommend Vita to anyone who needs professional eye care in a setting with all the latest technology and frame trends.

This place is AMAZING! Never have I had an eye exam so thorough as my exam with Dr Vollmer! I absolutely LOVE my new glasses... for me that is saying a lot... I had to have my last silhouettes remade 3 times and still wasn't happy with them. Shelby and Mandy put me in the new Drive Safe Lens and it was instant perfection as soon as I put them on! They are so light weight and my prescription is perfect!!! I highly recommend them to anyone!!!
