I have been going to Dr. Jackson since I moved to Wilmington in 2010 and continue to go to the new office in Whiteville. I have never once had anything but top notch professional, ethical and courteous service from Dr. Jackson or her staff. I have a high, very specialized prescription, weird eye issues and additional requests for adventure/sports eye protection and the staff has always researched and made it happen. If you want the best for your eyes, you go to the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

When I went for an eye exam it's been awesome and great and scheduling is very easy and flexible. However, I asked someone in the glasses/lens ordering area about whether there was a difference between air optix for astigmatism and air optix hydraglide for astigmatism and was told "I'm not really sure, you could maybe try googling it and see?" Well, I did google it and turns out the contact lens I got a prescription for was discontinued in 2021, they still have some supplies left until they deplete it, however if I had known this I would have just asked for the air optix for astigmatism's sister lens with the hydroglide. I just didn't love how when I called my eye doctor's office, I was told to google something instead of being helped as the patient to figure out the answer.

Dr. Jackson does a thorough exam and is friendly. I have been going to her practice for about 4 years. While my appointments are usually made for the last time of the day, I do not feel rushed or inconvenienced by her or her staff. They have a great selection of frames from low to high priced. Her staff also works the pricing to be to my advantage between my insurance coverage and any thing they have going on. Myself and my two youngest adult children go to her. We have no complaints.
I don't ever look forward to eye doctor, or dentist, appointments, but I do not mind going in to hers.

I think all the girls in the office are very nice and I enjoyed my visit. The doctor was efficient and was able to get me into a pair of contacts that were comfortable. She also addressed an issue in one visit that my previous eye doctor could never figure out so I was mostly excited about that. The frame selection is amazing here even though I wasn't buying glasses I had a great time buying them on and got some good advice from the optician about some prescription sunglasses. The only negative was that at first I was irritated about the downtown street parking but was told by the nice girl at the desk that they offer free parking to their patients in the back of the building so all ended well!

Best optometrist in town! I have purchased two pairs of glasses for myself and order my contacts on a regular basis from here. They always take notice when my prescription changes and help me with choosing the best frames for my face. My husband, mother-in-law, and best friend have all been satisfied with glasses from here. I even bought some baby sunglasses for my daughter and get compliments all of the time! They stay up-to-date on everything and always have the friendliest staff. I've been going here for over 3 years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

My husband and I both saw Dr. Jackson for eye exams and glasses about a year ago and were very happy with our experience with her and her staff. The real reason I'm writing this review is the experiences I've had regarding my elderly mother, who has had issues with her eyes for years. Dr. Jackson recommended some eye creams and vitamin supplements that have helped and more recently tear duct plugs that have worked wonders.

Extremely pleasant visit! Everyone seemed to go above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of! I am diabetic and have to keep a close watch on my vision among other things. Dr. Jackson took care to address my past eye issues and made coming to the doctor a pleasure!
They have a wonderful selection on frames to choose from with the best qualities for lenses available! I couldn't have been more pleased with this experience and encourage others to go here for their optometric needs.

Dr. Jackson was extremely accommodating. She swung by the office between seeing people and the old folks home and JCPenny to give me a thorough eye exam. I am a new patient and this will not be my last visit. The lady that helped me find my frames (I'm so sorry I don't remember your name) was very helpful and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. As a matter of fact she tried to get me the best deal possible with my insurance.
