I called to inquire about getting a pair of glasses and the person who answered the phone seemed to have hung up on me while I was speaking and then when I called back she was extremely unprofessional, rude, and nasty. No one deserves to be spoken to in that manner for absolutely no reason at all. When I asked for her name, she said that her name was Jennifer.

Wonderful Eye Exam Experience at GVS Metropolitan Hospital! I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent eye exam I received today at GVS Metropolitan Hospital. For too long, I've struggled with ill-fitting glasses due to previous eye doctors not using my last working prescription as a starting point. This resulted in multiple pairs of glasses that were uncomfortable and actually caused pain in my left eye. Today, the eye doctor at GVS Metropolitan Hospital listened to my concerns and, thankfully, began the exam using my previous prescription as a foundation. This approach made a world of difference! I immediately felt a sense of relief during the exam itself, knowing that my new glasses would finally be comfortable and correct. The entire staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with lots of smiles, which made the whole experience even better. I truly appreciate the doctor's understanding and willingness to work with my existing prescription. It made all the difference in the world. I'm so excited to finally have glasses that I can wear without pain. I highly recommend GVS Metropolitan Hospital to anyone seeking a thorough and considerate eye exam. Thank you again for your excellent care!

I was promised my $850 finished glasses in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I was informed they were incomplete due to one lens being done improperly. 2 weeks after that I picked the supposedly finished pair up and took it home. Two days later I found the sun to be painfully bright on my sensitive eyes because my new glasses did not transition as expected. And so now, virtually 2 months later I really am regretting not having gone to the parkchester vision center where 2 for one is offered and tastefully done as ordered.

I absolutely hands down love this optical place. The ladies are all very friendly as well as knowledgeable and super helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and my daughter was able to get two great pairs of glasses here. And thanks to Maria I took her advice and purchased the warranty which covered the accidental break of the frame of my daughter glasses (which occurred the same week she received the glasses)!! Thank You ladies for your help and for your great advisement GVS Optical is the only location I'll take my family for glasses!

Abhorrent service. I commuted into the city from NJ for an appointment I schedule over a week prior only to have wait an additional two hours as seemingly no one was being waited on. Ran into a snag where I needed to verify my academic enrollment when I should have been notified as the appointment came up which granted could have been out of their hands. However after it was verified, I proceeded to wait over two weeks for my glasses to arrive. The staff a few years ago was more reliable.

Emmy is welcoming. The doctor has no soul. Kind of creepy. Lol. She is too robotic. A bit detached.

This place could be empty and no ones answers the phone

Sitting in this place for 30 mins . I asked for help and nothing not even a hi what is your name do u have an appointment. It is now 3pm my was for 2 how long is it going to take. this person working here is ignoring me to the max
