Dr. Mandelbaum operated on my cataracts some time ago and the operation on each eye went perfectly well. One of the eyes had an issue with a loose lens and he handled that and the second eye easily, professionally and successfully well. Before and after the surgery he and his office were thorough interested and professional. Since that time some years I have visited the office for an annual check up and thorough eye examination which I did this morning. Every time I have met with his assistance and Dr. Mandelbaum I have been treated professionally and sensitively. I give Dr. Mandelbaum five stars and I also feel that his office workers and assistance are exceptional. I am an enthusiastic, positive patient of Dr. Mandelbaum.

Dr. Mandelbaum is an excellent cataract surgeon. I was referred to him by one of the country's best retinologists. Dr. Mandelbaum was very confident, warm, friendly, patient, and highly experienced in cataract surgery. He explained everything, answered all of my questions, and performed my cataract surgery flawlessly. He implanted Alcon monofocal (traditional) lenses set for slightly nearsighted (0.50) so that I could see both distance and near. I had the surgery on each eye about 6 weeks apart. The improvement in my vision was miraculous. I can now see everything clearly, and only use readers for small print labels. But I also sometimes wear readers for my laptop and cell phone for small print. My distance vision is now perfect at 20/20. Before the surgery, I was going blind from cataracts, and everything was getting dim, fuzzy, and dark. The results from the surgery were incredible--a miracle of modern medicine. My vision has never been better, and Dr. Mandelbaum did a fantastic job. I think he is the best cataract surgeon in the country. I very highly recommend him without any reservation.

After cataract surgery with toric lens implant, I have vision beyond my wildest dreams. Dr Mandelbaum is sincere and a wonderful doctor. As a child, I couldn't even see the blackboard, so this almost perfect vision is a treat!

I was referred to Dr Mandelbaum by my previous eye doctor who dropped medicare.. Upon arrival at Mandelbaums office, i was informed a $80 refraction charge would be added to my $20 co-pay. The receptionist said; "Oh you weren't informed when you made your appointment, there is an $80 charge?" She demonstrated an irritable demeanor. I was annoyed, and sure nothing was said about the $80 charge. There is an ethic of greed and dishonestly in this office. Pity. john hunter

Dr M was very thorough and diagnosed the issue I have been having correctly and promptly. They set up a plan to correct it and prescribed hard lenses. I am thrilled that I went to this office!
