America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

After a disappointing experience at a different location, I was so impressed by the contrast here. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and ensured I was seen exactly on schedule. My optician was incredibly thorough and comprehensive with the exam, making me feel completely confident in the care I received. The transition from the exam to picking out frames was seamless. I worked with Vanessa, who was wonderful--she offered expert advice on styles and explained all my lens options with great detail and patience. It was a truly pleasant, stress-free experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this team

Amazing, amazing, amazing staff! People are complaining about the wait times, but what they don't understand, is that there is only ONE Doctor at this location doing the exams. They are doing the best they can with what they have to work with! Everyone I came in contact with was extremely polite and courteous, and they worked with me and my daughter to get us the best deals on our glasses and my contacts. Yes, the wait time can seem a little lengthy, but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

I came in with my father for a long overdue pair of new glasses and the service received from all staff members was absolutely fantastic! They were so caring, and the eye exam and vision tests were very thorough, to ensure accuracy and address current eye conditions accurately, the best one we both had ever experienced. I am literally considering coming back to this office myself from another state for my next appt here because they were that good! We did have to wait a while, but we were 2nd to last appt of the day so not shocking. My only suggestion would be to have more comfy chairs in the waiting area, although I understand because the hard chairs are easier to keep clean. Thank you for a great experience and can't wait to see Dad in his new glasses!

I had an amazing experience at the Beavercreek America's Best optical store. It started with the technician who was very friendly and encouraging. Please forgive me, I have forgotten your name, not the experience. Dr Nicolette Evans was very thorough and communicative. She explained everything that was happening and what she was finding. She was very encouraging through the whole exam. Trevon was amazing! He invested his time in helping me get just the right glasses. Without Tre I would have been lost and probably would have wound up looking like a geek :-) They worked together, there was no competition between them. I would highly recommend this team. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Was promised replacement glasses by January 2, paid over $300. Customer service informed me they were still at the lab. Then lied to me and said they were in transit. What day is it? 1/07/26 still don't have my glasses. I will be requesting a refund and social media goes a long way the place needs closed. Especially when you wanna speak English. Also backing up this is the third pair I had to get because the first pair was scratched resistance. They scratched so easy it was ridiculous so I requested no protection film, Then I requested the widest angle vision glasses, and I did not get that either, after the third time, they did finally get the glasses right but that was two years ago. I explained to them I had a scratch in the lens and I am getting headaches and they really didn't give a crap I'm done.

I have been going to this store for over 2 years now. The people there are always kind and knowledgeable. So if you are looking for a great Eyewear store, this is the place to go. I have another Americas Best close to were I work but I always go back to the Beavercreek store because of the people there. GREAT JOB GUYS!

America's Best in Beavercreek did me a real disservice when I went to purchase glasses in December 2024. I returned twice in January and February 2025 because I could not see out of them. The first time I went back, the gentleman who helped me was wonderful. He listened carefully and tried to make adjustments. As usual, I was told to "wear them for a few weeks" to see if my eyes would adjust. After about 3-4 weeks, I returned to the Beavercreek location again. I explained that I was still having serious vision problems, and that the prescriptions in both pairs of glasses I had purchased appeared to be different. That same helpful gentleman and another young lady both independently checked my glasses. They told me they had no idea how I could see with them--and I explained that I couldn't. Since I rarely went out (I was using crutches at the time due to a back injury), I had simply not been wearing them. They took the glasses and said they would send them in to be fixed, because they did not match the written prescription. A few hours later, I received a call from the manager. She told me the two employees who checked my glasses "didn't do it correctly." She said they had used the machine, but when she checked manually, the glasses were "correct." I told her again that both pairs were different from each other and did not match the prescription. She was reluctant but eventually agreed to send them in. A few weeks later, I was called to pick them up. I noticed the employee retrieved them from the same spot where they had originally been placed to "send off," but I thought nothing of it and tried them on. I explained once again that I still felt the prescriptions were different in both pairs and that I could not see well. I was told again to "wear them for a few weeks." Now, I have over $600 worth of glasses that are essentially useless. I had them checked at another eyeglass store, and they confirmed in writing that both pairs were different from the prescription I was given--and neither matched what my doctor had written. At no point did the supervisor or employees at America's Best mention that I could receive a full refund, despite me returning multiple times! This entire process was uncalled for, especially considering I was struggling with a back injury that left me unable to walk for two months. I went through great difficulty to return multiple times during winter, only to be left with glasses I cannot use and money I cannot afford to waste. Edit: I was alerted that America's Best had responded to my post, and thar I can contact corporate. I looked and they had listed their corporate email address. However, I was visiting my mother in the hospital, so I didn't have an opportunity to copy their address. After 28 days, my 80 year old mother got to come home a few days ago. I logged in to get there response and email address. However, it's no longer on my post! I will be contacting a few state agencies as well as looking to further my journey of making things right. I hope to be able to work with them, but I have read some rather bad reviews! S. Henry

The people are nice but it takes forever. If you go here clear your schedule for the day. We had an appointment and set waiting for an hour just to realize there was still 2 people ahead of us. We decided to cancel and leave. Will not return.
