Davis Eye Center

2-3-26 1:40pm. We are senior citizens and new customers of Davis Eye Center in Cuyahoga Falls. The business itself is beautiful inside and out. Exams with Dr. Shaheen and his staff were great and our experiences with Optical were wonderful. We want to thank Dr. Davis, Dr. Shaheen, Marie, Christi, James and Kristen for their professionalism and their kindness. James in particular went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of and most importantly, we now have glasses that we are both happy with. We robustly recommend this organization and its staff!

I went in to get fitted for glasses and had an awesome time. The building is beautiful inside and Dr. Shaheen was very quick and clear about what's up with my eyes and what they needed. James helped me pick frames that are great and was an absolute pleasure to work with. They have a big selection of frames but it felt like a lot of overlap in style. I'd like to see less duplicates and more variety.

3 years later and I still can't see. Biggest regret of my life. Would have kept wearing contacts/glasses if I had known. Blurry vision and no night driving at all. I was only 52 when I had cataract surgery. I immediately complained of blurry vision - had YAG procedure which did not help. I would definitely recommend a second opinion. Worst decision ever.

The doctor did an excellent job with my surgery. However, after paying upfront for in-network care, I overpaid once insurance finalized the claim. Only a partial refund has been issued, and despite multiple attempts to contact the billing department, the remaining refund is still outstanding. Update: Thank you for the response. I have not yet been contacted and look forward to connecting to resolve the outstanding billing refund. Final update: The billing matter has been resolved and the remaining refund has been issued. Thank you!

I brought in my glasses, as I had bent them badly! James was able to adjust the temple pieces quickly. He also replaced the nose pieces on my back glasses. Wonderful service and I got to see Kristy, who is the best personal shopper, my frame stylist!

I've been going to Davis Eye Center for a few years. This last visit i found my prescription too strong. I went in the next day to exchange and I found James L. He was amazing. He helped me pick out frames because I wasn't happy with my frames at that point either. He then helped me (with the doctors help) find a less strong prescription. He must of spent almost an hour with me by the time everything was said an done. I will always go to Davis Eye Center because they give you the personable care you need when dealing with one of the most important senses we have. Especially James L. He made my visit!

I was referred to Davis Eye Center by Hills and Dales Vision. Dr. Charles Davis did my surgery. First of all most people are going to be a little anxious about the procedure, fear of the unknown. Don't be, for me there was no pain and with a mild sedative your relaxed. I actually enjoyed it and look forward to this coming surgery on the other eye. The whole experience from coming into the sign in area to leaving the facility worked like a well tuned machine. Everybody was great and did the jobs well. Surgery on eye turned out great vision getting better each day. If you are having problems with your vision put the health of your eyes in the hands of Dr. Charles Davis. UPDATE Hello this is Craig McClung back with an update, I had my second cataract surgery done on my right eye. Both eyes doing fantastic the procedure went as good as the first, as I thought it would Dr. Davis is a perfectionist, he and his staff give the best care possible. As I said before, put the health of your eyes and yourself in the hands of Dr. Charles Davis. What a gift, it's great to be able to see good again vision can change slowly over time. Eye surgery was fantastic. Think everything's good. BUT ,the only problem is billing. Got built separately for anesthesia from the surgery. So you get a bill for that, was not disclosed beforehand it would be seperate, Doctor Starkey was great, the billing not so much so, i thought was a little more pricey than it should have been from other people's experience telling me having done else where everything's an extra.
