Dr. Fogt has been our family optometrist for many years, and without a doubt, he is a very compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional. He not only takes the time to clearly explain every detail but also listens with genuine care, making you feel like a valued friend rather than just a patient. Recently, someone close to us experienced significant changes in their vision and was left with unanswered questions from their previous provider. Dr. Fogt generously spent two hours of his personal time on the phone, thoughtfully discussing the situation. He then arranged for an exam and consultation, during which he carefully explained his findings and patiently addressed all of our many questions. Afterwards, I reached out to thank him for his incredible support. His response? That he was honored we chose to come to him. That simple reply perfectly reflects who he is--a provider who truly cares for and about his patients. If you're in need of vision care, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Fogt.

I recently moved to the area and was nervous to find a new eye doctor. I was happy with my choice of Dr. Fogt. He was easy to talk to and took the time to build conversation that gave me confidence of his ability not only to make sure I am getting the best eye care but also the best patient care. Dr. Fogt is an exceptional eye doctor. Over the years I have had several eye dr's that were great all in their own way, but Dr. Fogt is in a class by himself. I switched over to bifocal lenses and my prescription was spot on. You can't even tell that the bifocals are there. I also have an issue with a recurring eye infection, and he has been great about squeezing me in for an appointment or calling in a prescription. He never makes me feel as though he is in a rush to get me out of the office. He takes the time to make sure he hears what I have to say and will ask questions to ensure he is taking care of what I need. That is hard to find nowadays, and appreciated.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Fogt. I recently started wearing multi focus lenses. This is his specialty! It is the first time that my contact lenses have properly fit in decades. It was the first time that I learned about my own vision problems and even how this contact lenses work. He is thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely cares. The staff is extremely friendly as well.

Visiting Dr. Fogt has been life changing for me, I was so adjusted to my poor eyesight that I forgot what having good vision was like. I can see so clear now, with no more eye strain or headaches. He is thorough and explains your eye exam step by step as well as his findings and solutions for any vision issues you may have. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. Many doctors rush you in and out, Dr. Fogt was just the opposite. I will NEVER go to anyone else again. I have found a kind,caring doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He is the very best of the best. The office staff is also so kind. My eyes have never felt better. I have contacts now that I don't even feel in my eyes. I just cannot say enough good things, if I could give 10 stars I would. I wanted to try contact lenses but I was told at other places I could not wear them because I have a nearsighted eye, a farsighted eye, and also needed bifocals. I went to Dr. Fogt several years ago and he fitted me for contacts and I've been so pleased! We moved to Texas and continue to do our business with Dr. Fogt by setting up eye appointments when we visit our family in Ohio. He is the best! Update, we are now in Chicago and much closer so we continue to see Dr. Fogt!
