Lang Optical

Arrived for my 9:30 appointment at 9:15 as requested. Filled out paperwork, older receptionist woman was sweet as pie! Eye doctor was also one of the nicest gentlemen I've met; explained everything to me in great detail. The second reception lady was friendly until she realized I wasn't buying glasses from them but preferred to purchase them online. I asked if she would measure my pupillary distance as I need it for online ordering. Her friend had stopped by to drop off contacts to donate- I didn't want to interrupt their conversation so I just started to exit as I had a funeral for my Nana to get to. The entire time she kept saying most places charge for this, most places charge for this. I wasn't upset she was busy I just had somewhere to be. I'm unsure if I'll return, my husband absolutely loves this place and I did too until that incident. Everyone is dealing with different things in their life and a little kindness goes a long way.

I've been a customer for a very long time (1986), and that's because their employees are amazing! It's true, I could choose to buy glasses online, but the outstanding customer service, the quality product, and the knowledgeable and kind employees make my exam enjoyable. I look forward to my yearly exam here!

Very satisfied. I've not been to the eye doctor in over 15 years. I developed an infection in my left eye and a friend who goes there recommended them. The doctor cleared my infection up then I came back for an exam. They then fitted me for glasses. The lady that helped me choose the glasses to suit me was very nice and knowledgeable. I.was surprised that they were not as expensive as I thought they would be. I would highly recommend them!

Service is not professional I'm still waiting on frames I can purchase from another optical that has them in stock , I should've just took that drive. Going on a month! Update; Since the post I received the frames next day,odd. Since then went in for measurements for lens ,supposedly there sent out to have lenses put in. As of today it's over a week. Very disappointed with the service. Timing is everything!!

I just feel sooo comfortable there ..haven't been there in awhile.. need to go back..I like a certain type of frames they do try to get them in for me..hope to see you soon

First time there. Very quick thorough appointment. I prefer going to and supporting family owned/smaller businesses. However did not enjoy one of the technicians there, where after I paid out of pocket, commented on how I should get vision insurance. When I said id be happy to have any insurance at all- she laughed at me. I'm sure this was all in good play somehow but It left me feeling uncomfortable so I will not be returning.

I have been a patient at Lang Optical for over twenty years. Always have received the best care, service, and eyewear here. I don't even live in Elyria anymore and still come here because there isn't anywhere better.

They are absolutely amazing. Perfect glasses. Now I can see the whole world better!! Thank you!
