This new location on Park in Grove City isn't handicapped compliant. I had a great deal of difficulty getting my mother who is 93 and 98% wheelchair bound into this facility. There is no ramp for the sidewalk and no ramp into the facility which has a step of at least 8 inches. I had to tilt and lift my mother's wheelchair to get it on the sidewalk and again in the door. She was very afraid I was going to lose control of the wheelchair. Once inside you can only go up stairs or downstairs. The doctor's facility is in the basement. There was an electric stairlift but the landing is so narrow it was extremely difficult getting mother out of the wheelchair and onto the stairlift seat. Then I carried her wheelchair down the stairs. This process took time and the staff had the nerve to say my mother was 15 minutes late for her appointment.

I have been seeing Dr Schumaker for 2 years. He has now done a laser procedure on both eyes to relieve pressure and most recently Cataract surgery. Following my right eye Cataract procedure my distance vision came back to point I could not wear glasses for driving. After my left eye, which was just a couple weeks ago, I have been able to read and all. Only need reading glasses when I am very tired and I am confident that as the healing completes it will be even better.
All of his staff have been friendly and helpful. They make sure you know what to expect at all times and I would not trust my eye care to anyone else.

I am so happy with the result of my right eye. I can't wait to get my left eye done. Office staff and surgery staff is great. I was very nervous but my questions were answered. Everything was explained to me and everyone at the Circleville location eased my anxiety. Dr. Schumaker is my hero. I would definitely recommend Eye Specialist of Ohio.

I wouldn't recommend this business to ANYONE! They call me daily mistaking my number for one of their patients. They leave voicemails with their patient's personal information, appointment details, and billing details. HIPAA Violation and Privacy Act Violation! FIX YOURSELVES!!!

Most unprofessional doctors office I've ever had the displeasure of going to. Receptionist calling a patient a liar when she was the one who was wrong, when I spoke up for the patient (complete stranger) she called me a liar, having appointments scheduled and people waiting in the parking lot because noone showed up to open, scheduling an appointment for an ultrasound only to wait an hour to be told the ultrasound equipment wasnt there and still being charged a copay for the visit...never again will I return to this joke of an office.

I had surgery on my right eye By Doctor Schumacher.. he was great i wish i found him sooner I give him and his staff 5 stars I could see allot better. His staff Member are great always with a smile i did not have to wait long to been seem by MR Schumacher. He had a wonderful Lady pick me up in a Limousine took me for me Cataract Surgery. when i came out of the OR room . the nurse was very helpful to me .then she asked me what color roses i wanted I could not believe it . She told me they was from the Doctor. that was very nice of him. then i was taken home by Limousine. If i could make a Commercial i would do it in a minute . No body should Hesitate to go to Dr Schumacher Don't think twice about it Go for it .... 5 STARS I give him and his staff member Sylvia Davido
