This was my first visit with this doctor, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. When she entered the room, her approach felt more like an interrogation than an evaluation. I left feeling belittled and dismissed, as if my concerns were insignificant simply because of my age.
She was short and abrupt throughout the appointment, performing a very quick exam and rattling off measurements and findings to her assistant without much explanation to me. When I tried to discuss my symptoms, she immediately told me she doesn't handle prescriptions for glasses or contacts -- even though that wasn't why I was there.
As a patient, it's very discouraging to feel that your concerns are brushed off or attributed solely to "getting older." I went in seeking answers about noticeable changes in my vision, but instead left feeling unheard and dismissed. I hope she takes this feedback seriously and works on providing more compassionate, respectful care to her patients.

It came very close to me not being able to keep my and my mother's eye appointments. There is no handicap entrance and I could not get my 97-year-old mother in the door. The ramp to the door was at an incline and very narrow... I could not get around her wheelchair to open the door. It was raining so her and I both got wet . Even locking the wheels would not allow me to get around to the door which opened outward towards me. After about 5 minutes trying to figure out how I was going to get her inside, another patient came up behind me and struggled to get to the door to open it and then I couldn't get her up over the aluminum strip because it was too high. I will not be bringing her back there until this practice gets a handicap entrance, with automatic door. I don't know who is responsible for the handicap entrance, whether it be the owner of the building or the practice, but in any case, it is very inconsiderate to the handicap. For shame.
