Walmart Vision & Glasses

Dr. Buckland is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The glasses options range from very basic to decently expensive. I get Ray Bans every time and haven't been disappointed. Highly recommend getting the warranty on any pair. It's about $25 and well worth it. I accidentally stepped on my last pair of frames 2 weeks after getting them, and I walked in, they popped my lenses into new frames and I was on my way in 5 minutes at no cost.

Brandee and Denise have greatly exceeded my expectations. I came to them with a broken pair of frame, barely able to see, and they took care of me with compassion and efficiency. Those are rare qualities in service professionals these days. Thank you both for turning a very bad day around for me!

I visited them earlier today the glasses that they made for me in January The free adjustment was way past but the lady there named Valerie was exceptional towards me even though I was frustrated, of course not at her it was my own issues and I certainly would not want to treat someone in a way that God would not approve of so but through all that she gave me exactly what I needed God is good and she was too her name was Valerie

Came in, asked for help after stepping on my glasses. They screwed it up,changed the pads and fixed a few other issues with them. Thanks again

Great place for eye exams, contact solutions, prescription eye glasses and sunglasses, friendly staff, usually pretty fast but scheduling appointments can be a pain. Otherwise I would've given it 5 stars. Scheduling appointments usually a) are far off for the soonest opening and b) have reoccurring payment issues with insurance companies and refuse that insurance altogether for whatever issues are going on. Just unpredictable and unstable. Some answers would be great. I'd like to know why my insurance suddenly isn't being accepted for the moment at one particular location. Besides "unpaid fees" by insurance company. When will this be resolved? Will it ever? How long should I anticipate not having my regular place for eye exams and contact solution prescriptions??

Came here at 6:15 pm on Friday and they were closed. Their hours of operation are open until 7 pm. Really disappointed.

I called to make appointments for my daughter and I, today, after realizing my prescription was expired. The girl was happy to make the appointments. After, I asked if they could help me in the meantime, by extending my prescription through this week, so I could purchase contacts or just give me a pair of trial contacts so I can see in the meantime. That's when she Informed me that there's a note from 2020 saying to not reschedule me due to no show, so they can not help me with anything, other than making an appointment. Lol I'm like, but uh, you have rescheduled me, not only today but several times since 2020? I asked her if she'd like to ask the doctor, since the note is from 2020, and I've been seen since. She said no, it's the doctors note so that's that... with the 2021 prescription in my file as well, personally I would have at least mentioned it... and the fact that she's willing to do the one thing the note says don't do, reschedule me, but won't even ask the doctor a question about a note from years ago, says they want the money but not the patient to doctor relationship. No thank you. Btw, I have remembered that the appointment was when I got in a car accident and was in the hospital, so I know why I missed the appointment and why I was probably forgiven and then rescheduled anyway. That parts not even necessary to explain though. Regardless, if a doctor or their staff is going to completely dismiss me as a patient over a vague note from 2.5 years ago, without a second thought, my 3 kids and I will definitely go somewhere else. I can order glasses online without a prescription for the meantime.

As always, top notch customer care! Last weekend I broke my glasses and had put off ordering contacts, so I was in a bind. Chrystal took great care of me, got me an appointment the same day for the contacts and helped me get my glasses ordered as well. The eye doc that was working this past weekend was awesome too! In todays world, it is a breath of fresh air to get to interact with people with actual personalities and you can tell that they care about what they are doing. Thank you Wal-Mart Vision Center of GC!
