Dr. Nye and his staff were awesome! I took my elderly mother who has alzheimer's for a checkup. Dr.Nye was so wonderful with her. He took the time and explained everything in detail to us.It was a great experience.highly recommend

I have been seeing Dr. Nye for years and have received excellent care. He's extremely detailed and thorough in his examinations. Not to mention, his staff is professional and accommodating. Most recently, I had an urgent matter with my eyes, and they were quick get me in on a Monday night to address the issue, which I was grateful for.

Dr. Nye saw me for an emergency scratch on my eye. He got it calmed down and healing nicely. Great to have such a knowledgeable eye Dr. here in Hamilton. And his staff is very professional. Plus, his selection of eyewear is pretty nice!

Amazing staff and amazing place. They've always assured that my son won't sit without his glasses and never give me trouble for always replacing them!

I've been going to Dr. Nye for a number of years and have received excellent care. Last year he noticed a significant change in one eye & immediately referred me to a retinal specialist. I ended up having surgery and thankful for a good result! Highly recommend this practice!!

My vision care was transferred from Dr. Hogue's office to Dr. Nye at Vision Source. During my most recent visit, Dr. Nye entered the room and said to me, "so I understand you want to make a liar out of me." Completely taken aback by the absurdity of his remarks given I never said that, felt like my appointment was more like an interrogation than an annual vision exam. Dr. Nye demanded a field vision exam to test my peripheral vision for any deficits and kept referring to driving being a concern. I've never had problems with my peripheral vision, never complained about vision problems, and had no legitimate reason for paying extra to have it done. Dr. Nye continued to say the exam is needed especially for driving and it would give him good baseline data even though there's no treatment for peripheral vision issues. I said why would I pay for something I don't need. Dr. Nye said he "would bill my medical insurance for a medical problem and I would need to undergo regular testing for changes;" what problem, what changes??? I don't have any deficits not to mention the License Bureau administers the same exam for free every 4 years when you renew your driver's license and I have passed every time. To make the appointment even worse, for the past 3 years he has repeatedly told me, I will need bifocals and for 3 years my vision has not changed. This last appointment, Dr. Nye credited my husband for my good vision and said maybe I should fine out what he's doing and patent it to make the big bucks. What?? This isn't first time I've left my eye exams wondering what the heck just happened but this will be the last. Dr. Nye has no manners, he is completely dismissive of females and I will not be returning next year. I refuse to have my medical insurance charged for frivolous reasons other than a cash grab for the clinic. I don't recommend wasting your time and money going here. Definitely know your insurance and call before agreeing to frivolous testing as they charge a ridiculous amount for an exam that does nothing.

Dr. Nye the eye guy! Lol but seriously it was a wonderful experience. The facility is clean and everyone was very professional. I didn't have to wait long and I feel like I got a good deal on my glasses. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely a good addition to Hamilton.
