Eyenstein's Optical

If I could give this place ten stars out of five I would! My son and I have had a great experience every time we've come for an appointment. They have helped with contacts, eyeglass fittings, and even helped us when our glasses have broken. I highly recommended.

I've been here before and like the glasses I've got here for any services excellent the new guy is really cool he barely been some great glasses I put them on my Facebook page too , ask for Keenan.

I am writing this review in regret of allocating my time today for an eye exam and getting a new pair of glasses ordered. It was such a good and productive day until our noon appointment at Eyenstin Optical. We were on time and the waiting area was standing room only, not a big deal. We had 60 minutes on our parking meter. 24 minutes had passed and we were aware 60 minutes would not be enough. I went out and added another dollar for another 60 minutes, doing so and put the meter at 1h 36 minutes. Eventually the Doctor called me and I went back to her. The doctor was very nice and did an excellent job. When I was done my wife had a seat now. I went and stood by where she was sitting. Very soon afterwards the doctor had finished my prescription paperwork she called my wife back. I sat down where she was sitting and waited. Once the doctor was finished with her she returned to where I was and asked if they had shown me glasses yet. We waited and things were going fine. We still had time for the meter but the lady that helps customers select glasses was still busy with an elderly customer, no problem. Then another woman comes and says both of our names. I had already told my wife I needed help selecting frames. So my wife told me to sit down first to discuss options. This is when the woman asks the both of us if we have ever worn bifocals before. We both wear bifocals and clearly told he that. Then she literally said to my wife that she needs glasses more than I do and probably for driving. My wife responds that I wear them when I drive. Then she asked me again if I ever wore bifocals before. I said yes and she said but you don't wear them! Neither my wife nor myself had any glasses on. We didn't bring them inside. This is when she clearly acts as if I need glasses less than my wife does and she goes over and up sells her on higher cost frames. The up sale was not an issue seeing before she ever spoke with us I asked my wife how much she was willing to spend on me getting a good pair of glasses. My wife was like, what do you want? I told her I wanted metal frames, real glass, trifocals and transitions. We were in the market but this person talked around me and over me. We are not new to Eyenstin Optical. We have bought at least 6 pairs between my wife and I. We have also brought 2 of our 4 children in for exams and glasses over the years. Well, to finish up this review. The person went in the back to get frames to help measure my wife's bifocal line position. I immediately told my wife how aggravating it was. I sit on the waiting bench. While they were discussing the line position I'd had enough of this person. I left the store. My wife came to the car, we left and she said that she shouldn't have ordered glasses either and that we both should have left. This makes me feel like I'm never going to Eyenstin Optical again. She ruined my great day! Of course me saying that my wife said, "mine too"

We had an okay experience. Everyone is nice but we were there to get glasses and contacts, and somehow they forgot (?) to do the contacts exam or didn't realize that's what we were there for. Even though it was on the paperwork we filled out AND we spoke to the doc about it. We didn't know it was a separate exam. After we left, we realized that we forgot to ask how to get our contacts. I called right away, was told the Dr had just left for the day but I would get a return call on the next business day. They never called me. I called a week later and That's when I found out that the contact exam was a separate fee and a separate appointment. I wish they would've explained this to us when we were there for our appointment and expressed our interest in getting contacts. We were planning on going back to get glasses, but will go somewhere else since we have to go somewhere else for contacts now anyway because we need a weekend appointment and they don't have a doctor on the weekends. Like I said, they're nice people, but the communication is lacking.

I had a very pleasant experience today at Eyenstein's Optical. Keenan was very conversational with a pleasant friendly personality. We even shared some laughs while I was selecting my frames. Down to earth atmosphere here. Greeted nicely by the young lady at the front desk. I have never seen baby eyewear before, I was so impressed with their huge selection of colors and styles. It's so super cute!!!! I recommend coming here for your eye care needs. Great selection of frames to choose from. The service is outstanding!

Tyler was very helpful and provided an exceptional customer service experience. The doctor was also very professional and friendly.

They've fixed my glasses (which I did not get through them) twice for no charge. So that's cool.

I originally bought my first prescription pair from these guys. I was originally told insurance will cover all the costs, only to find out AFTERWARDS that they do not, and I had to pay about $600 out of pocket JUST for glasses. I was thankful until 3 days passed & the lens started becoming really blurry & scratched up. I did not receive any microfiber cleaning cloth, or instructions on how to clean my lens. I had cleaned it with a glasses microfiber cloth I had in my home, and later with a lens cleaning solution & wipe I had. I went, and they replaced the lens for me, which took 3 weeks. I was insistent on them replacing them, but the owner gasllit me into thinking the issue was with my eyes, not with the cheap scratched lens. The other worker, once he saw my lens, could agree he did see scratches. The second pair, the lenses just felt blurry, with random white spots or specs (dust of some sort) that wouldn't go away no matter how much I cleaned it (using the cleaning kit they gave me after my bad experience). Bottom line is, these glasses & frames are very cheaply made, yet overcharge you, almost triple the price of a normal pair of glasses. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere for quality glasses that are worth the price you're paying for.
