I was referred to Dr. Bickel through the Ohio Health emergency care since I didn't have vision coverage. He was nothing short of amazing. I was seen within 24 hours and he made sure I was as comfortable as I could be considering the pain. The receptionist immediately noticed my light sensitivity and turned down the lights. They truly exceed standard practice of care. Highly recommend.

I submitted an online request for my son. I received a call back today from a young lady today. I explained to her the appointment was for my son. After answering all of her questions I told her again the insurance was under his father and I can provide the group number and or ID number for the insurance provider. The lady kept saying that she could find me in the system, I told her again that it is under his father do you want me to give you the insurance information. She obviously wasn't listening to anything I said as her next words were I can't find him in the system I need the ID information. I repeated that I have the information let me know when you are ready. She then waited a few seconds then hung up on me. Of course when I call back my call is ignored. It seems that the reviews from the past are what truly goes on in this establishment. Her unprofessional attitude just lost your business 4 new clients.

Best experience I've ever had at an eye Dr. As soon as I came threw I felt welcome and was provided with top class service from one of the best receptionist named Christy who was quick to put a smile on me and my mother's face. Dr.Bickel has an amazing sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge. He was able to address all my concerns and educated me about my current issues. Iv would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for top notch eye care.

From the start, Candace was very friendly and professional. Turns out later she help me pick out an excellent glass frame. Christy was also very helpful in helping me a select a really good pair of progressive lenses with all the options. I waited a day or two to think it through and decided to get the light darkening glasses that I can use while driving. It was my first time using progressive lenses. She is very sensitive about over selling me a pair of glasses that were too expensive. She made it clear that progressives needed to be high-quality. I now am wearing a pair of glasses that I absolutely love! I can see clearly for the first time both near and far. I finally have one pair of glasses that I can use everywhere! I can see clearly in the sun, in the shade, indoors and outdoors. It's simply fantastic! Dr. Bickel did an excellent exam and recommended the best course of action using progressive lenses. They are a great team there at vision care Associates, and I really appreciate their services!

I was very satisfied with my service at Visual Care Associates. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Bickel is so friendly and thorough. Overall, I was very impressed with my first visit.

I have been going here 3 yrs. The moment you enter the door you feel as if they care. The receptionist is very professional and yet cordial and courteous. The Dr. Is very thorough and puts things in terms you can understand. He also has a great way adding some humor to his exam that puts you in a relaxed mood. Best eye care I have ever had. I highly recommend.

This was the greatest eye exam I have ever had! Dr Bickel spent a lot of time explaining things to me. I have an eye condition and I've known since I was in my 20s but I learned things about it that I never knew! He was very reassuring that my eyes are in good shape. And what a sense of humor he has, very delightful! I consider myself very fortunate to have found him as I was in search of a new eye Dr since I'm on Medicare now. I called several places until I got to Visual Care Associates.

I received prompt and courteous service from the entire staff at VisualCare Associates on my very first visit. From a medical perspective the exam and explanations of findings were thorough and informative. One of the best eye exams I've ever had. Highly recommend this doctor for those who want to know the complete health picture of their eyes.
