Dr Hooper is a great doctor! He genuinely cares about his patients and does his best to improve their vision. He puts great thought into the care he delivers to make sure he's doing the best for his patients. His staff members are warm and inviting. It's such a great practice that I followed him from his former office even though it's a 40 minute drive from my home. Highly recommended!!!

Wow! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I haven't had an eye appointment in years and this was my first time here. I was using Medicaid CareSource and was super anxious that I would be treated differently because of it, but everyone was lovely. The entire process was step by step- organized and I was in and out within an hour. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again!!

Been seeing doctor Hooper for years. He is very thorough and attentive; he listens to any and all eye concerns I may have. Annie is also very helpful in picking out lenses and frames, and in helping with insurance questions. She also gives suggestions/ recommendations whenever I ask. My recent trip to West Side Preventive Eye Care resulted in one of the most outstanding customer service experiences I have had in some time, as well as a great pair of eyeglasses. Within one minute of arriving, Annie, the practice manager/optician, welcomed me and Katie, the receptionist, proceeded to assist me by efficiently determining the reason for my visit, checking my insurance benefits, and completing necessary paperwork. While she was finishing with another customer, Annie directed me to frames that I could try on, and then, as soon as she was able, helped me select frames that were perfect for my needs. She advised me regarding the various choices, and then helped me decide which lenses would be best in consideration of my regular activities. She helped me navigate the various options, offering advice regarding those that would be most beneficial. All of this was done in a very efficient, yet unhurried manner. The entire experience was smooth and seamless. I was received with what felt like an extravagant welcome and was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I got the information necessary to make smart choices regarding my glasses, but never felt pressured to buy options that I did not want. It was apparent that meeting my needs was front and center in the minds of the entire staff, and I quickly realized that this practice has chosen to prioritize high quality services and long-term customer satisfaction over short-term sales volume and profits. The follow-up visit to try on the glasses, and make final adjustments to the fit was equally efficient and satisfying. In short, I felt welcomed, valued as a customer, and cared for; but never hurried or pressured. It was a delightful experience that left me feeling highly satisfied (and at a lower price than I had expected). An experience that seems all too rare these days.

Great experience at West Side Preventative Eye Care! Knowledgeable and friendly staff and doctor. Very thorough exam and explanation. Nice selection of glasses and good discounts. I'm glad I found this place through my insurance. My whole family will be going there.

Dr Hopper and his mom Annie are fantastic, very professional , easy going, clean great quality and selection and really care. Location was easy to find , wait time was short, from children to adults great place to for all your eye care needs.

I have been experiencing bothersome dry eye for the past few months and Dr. Hooper was very helpful. He listened to the information I gave him, asked further questions, and used imagery to explain his theories about what is going on and why. The staff are all helpful and kind as well.

W.S.P.E.C was a very warm and inviting place. Employees are very nice and respectful. I would totally recommend this location to anyone! The Doctor was thorough with the exam and explains what he sees on imaging. All in all, I will be returning. Thanks for a job well done!
