Springboro Vision Center

I really like Springboro Vision Center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can walk in anytime to have my glasses adjusted. It is easy to make an appointment. The doctors are nice and take the time to explain things and answer any questions. The office has a nice selection of frames and quality lenses.

I went here last year, told the doctor my problem about starting to have trouble seeing far away and at night, I do have chronic headaches and migraines, I've never had a problem seeing up close it's just my headaches make it harder. My problem was seeing far away. They made my prescription to be able to see up close and everything thing else was blurry. Since my problem was for up close, and staring at computers I got talked into needing blue light, and a magnifier. Spent $480 with insurance on my glasses to be able not to use them. When I asked about getting them fixed I was told to "sit closer to the board at school so I could see" or get bi-locals. I paid that much for some glorified readers... frustrated I finally went to Shawnee optical and they laughed when they saw my prescription and said it was all wrong and was very sorry for this places wrong doing.

Absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and never rushes you. They take time to answer every question, explain everything clearly, and truly care. Clean, on-time, and great frame selection too. Best eye care experience ever - highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Springboro Vision Center. From the time I arrived until the time I left the office, it was the gold standard. The front office made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Dr. Brandy Orr was outstanding! I had not been to an eye doctor in several years and she was very thorough in her approach and explanation of everything. I would highly recommend Dr. Orr!

Update 5 years later: I still go to and recommend this office for all your eye care needs. I don't even work in the area anymore, but make the drive because they're worth it. My daughter recently needed to get glasses and they were very kind and patient with her, even when she took forever to pick her frames. They also got her in earlier by keeping her on the cancellation list so she could get her new glasses in time for the new school year. Everyone is very kind and knowledgeable. They are the best! **Highly recommend this office! I've had mixed results over the years with eye doctors that have rude workers and doctors trying to get me to do contact lens trials because they get money back... not here. They did explain options, but I didn't feel pushed to make any purchase I didn't want to and everyone was super friendly, very personable. I left the office a very happy customer. I know what office I will be returning to when I need my next eye exam.

After searching for a new eye doctor for the past several years, I've finally found a place I really like. The staff is very kind. Lauren was especially helpful. And Dr Orr was on time, knowledgeable, answered all my questions and had us in and out in a blink. I also really appreciate that for a small fee, you can have a test done that not only doesn't require dilation (so hard driving home after that), but it also gives them more details about your eye health from year to year.

Needed eyeglasses adjusted and the lady acted like it was a chore to do her job. I kept telling her the glasses didn't feel right and she "grunted" and quickly went back to "adjust" the glasses. Wouldn't sit down to see how they looked on me. Check behind my ears and all to see where the adjustments needed to be made. I went back to my old glasses and never wore those glasses.

We brought my father here to pick out glasses for his VA prescription as they are set up to do that. It had snowed a few days previous so they had shoveled all the snow onto the ramp to their sidewalk so I had to pick up my dad's wheelchair and lift it onto their sidewalk just to bring him in. We picked out our glasses and then 7 weeks later we found out they never even submitted to the order to the VA. A complete waste of time, go somewhere else.
