I had an excellent experience at Cincinnati Vision Group. Dr. Ellen Grubb was professional, thorough, and incredibly patient. I had serious concerns about the potential heritability of detached retinas after my 83 year old mother recently underwent surgery. The specialist at CEI recommended I discuss it with my primary eye doctor. Dr. Grubb took the time to answer every question without interrupting me. She explained the hereditary factors clearly, reviewed my retina scan with me, and made sure I understood exactly what she was seeing. I left that portion of my appointment informed and relieved. The entire staff was polite and courteous. Once my exam was complete, Jami Teal, Office Manager, handed me over to Cheryl for eyeglass selection. Even though I found a pair of glasses right away, Cheryl gave me the time and space to walk through every option. She did not rush me. She understood that I wanted to compare everything, and she allowed me to do exactly that. I tried on multiple pairs, and every single one I compared back to the pair I had originally chosen. Cheryl granted me the grace and time to do that so I could leave knowing there was nothing better for me in that room. Choosing glasses is not like choosing a necklace or changing your hairstyle. These are something you wear every single day. I wanted to be confident in my decision, and they respected that. Cheryl sat with me and walked through the entire lens setup and ordering process carefully. I even asked Jami for her opinion before finalizing, and she was happy to weigh in. As a service oriented Founder and CEO of Integrity Services, I understand what high standards look like when it comes to customer care. They met mine. One hundred percent. I left feeling confident in my glasses, confident in my eye health, and grateful for the level of service I received. They provided my prescription both on paper and by email, and every detail was handled thoroughly. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was second to none.

Amazing! It was my first going to Lens Crafters and the woman that helped me was attentive, patient, and kind! She was even helping me look for glasses that will fit my style. And my style is big and unique with frames. The doctor I had was also amazing and kind. I had a great experience with everyone there from beginning to end.

I have been going to Dr Kenkel & Associates most of my life without issue. But since this location has been taken over by Cincinnati Vision Group, my experience has been awful. First, I couldn't confirm my appointment because somehow it was double booked in their system. Called and got that straightened out. I was given a different doctor. I had been seeing Grubb previously, who I love. But had doctor Clark this time. She insisted I have terrible eye allergies and recommended drops for dry itchy eyes. I actually laughed because my eyes aren't dry or itchy and I don't have allergies. She also insisted I needed multifocal lenses, so I was charged more for the exam. She ordered several different sets of multifocal for me to try and I honestly couldn't tell a difference, or they actually made my distance vision more blurry, so I requested to order single vision lenses. I told both her and the woman on the phone that I wanted the same lenses I ordered previously, the LensCrafters brand of biofinity. Instead they ordered the name brand biofinity which cost $50 more, and now I have to wait for them to reorder so I can exchange. I sent an email asking for an itemized receipt for the contacts, which I need for my FSA card. I never got a response. They were supposed to email the rebate info for the contacts, never got that. I called to ask if they can confirm my glasses prescription is correct, because one eye is the same as my contacts and the other is a .75 difference. It's also different than my glasses prescription from last year, even though the contact prescription is the same as last year. The girl told me to just have the glasses made and if they don't seem right to come in for another exam. What?!? I asked her to please just confirm with the doctor that the glasses prescription is correct and let me know before I have glasses made. This is ridiculous.

I was able to be on Christmas Eve!!! The service received was EXCELLENT. From the phone call to schedule, the check in process and getting the testing was the first time the tech gave very clear instructions, let you know exactly what she was doing and for the first the dreaded puff of air did not take FOREVER for me to get through because she let me know exactly when to expect it. Then the actual exam with doctor was just a very pleasant experience. I think I've found a permanent vision provider!!! Great work!! 10/10 very much recommend!!!!

Although I was the last appt for the day, everyone was very pleasant and helpful as if I was the first client for the day. Great morale and I'm glad to have finally found an eye doctor that listens and takes the time to figure out what works for you and your situation. See you all in a year!!!

Our eye exams with Dr Grubb was great she's pretty good, experienced and friendly. The nice staff was very helpful sorting out our insurance benefits. Then we met Jennifer for glasses. Good listener, very sharp mind and really wants to be good at her job. Applied all possible discounts, getting most flattering look with the features and benefits we need and like. Exceeded our expectations.

If you don't want to pay 2% for using a credit card or HSA card bring a check or cash! I wish I would have been told when I made my appointment! I still recommend this office. The front desk ladies are very nice. The wait time is short and Dr. Grubb was excellent.

I was given an appointment right away after calling and was received by very polite and helpful staff. My experience with the doctor and staff couldn't have gone better and then was received by lens crafters, Ginger, with much help with my insurance and getting me exactly what I wanted in glasses. All in all, a very good experience.
