Latimer Vision Center

Do their job in a very inefficient. They got me for 30 minutes waiting for the doctor after doing my examinations and when I asked they told me "you're the next each time". I don't think I'll come back. The prices are higher than other places and I feel they are not completely transparent with them. I asked for a break down on what my insurance would cover or not based on the results and they refused. Definitely just look for other place.

The last time we went to Latimer, the secretary who handles insurance told us we had to pay $200 each for glasses. For five of us, that would have been over $1000. I asked for a breakdown of what they were charging and what insurance would/would not cover. She wouldn't show me a detailed statement, just kept saying that it was because I had "cheap vision insurance". I stepped outside and called my vision insurance and they said it was because they do not work with Latimer. That would have been easier than the secretary telling me I had "cheap vision insurance"

I am new to the state and was combing out eye doctor's. I came across Dr. Latimer and he made me feel comfortable. I drove some ways to him but it was well worth it. His personality is bubbly, calming, and welcoming. He gives great education while he is examining you. Best eye doctor thus far and I've been in lenses for over 20 years. Would definitely refer to other's. Staff was awesome as well.

Staff are nice, polite, professional, understanding, knowledgeable. They send reminders of upcoming appointments. Kids are a specialty of Dr Latimer and his wife, also a doctor. Trustworthy experts! The eye care glasses side are great! The staff works with insurance, even Soonercare. They're very helpful in helping pick glasses/frames, measuring, ensuring a good fit, repairing or replacing. They definately have experience at this location! Recommend!

Dr. Latimer is the only optometrist that could get my prescription correct. That's why I drive 2 1/2 hours one way to get my eyes checked. Thank you, for the best eye care around.

Pretty disapointed in the service we got which is why the one star. . The Dr. was amazing and was great with my Kids. we had planned on making the switch for our whole family to here. Had my Daughters appointment and she loved the Dr. went a week later to pick up her glasses and asked for a copy of the prescription since that wasn't given to us at the time of the apt. was told they could release it but it couldn't include the PD and if we wanted that it would be a $25 charge. This information is part of the RX and necessary to get glasses made. I've never heard of an office withholding that for more money. We paid in full and owe the office nothing so to be charged extra for something we've already paid for is wrong. Dr was great but if these are his ways of doing business and what he's training staff to do we won't return.

I love Dr Latimer as do my children. However since he merged offices, it's become a huge headache trying to get in and get seen. The cost is higher and it's further away.

Great service 5/7/25 really help me first time getting glasses. Everybody was nice, friendly , got my exam and everything done and checked everything for me, very, very good people
