Dr. Guerkink provides excellent, extremely knowledgeable, comprehensive, and compassionate care. His front staff is always pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend his clinic.

I called ahead and asked if they took my insurance, and they confirmed, so I waited a month for the appointment. Got there, and they don't take my insurance. Now I'm going to have to scramble to find eye care before a strict deadline.

Dr. Geurkink is an amazing man. He has been my eye doctor for a decade. He is a strong Christian man who shows his genuine care for his patients. The receptionists always remember your name (without looking at a file) and are very generous. I would not want to go anywhere else. They just moved to a new beautiful location which is also a big plus. I highly recommend them.

Each visit with Dr. Geurkink and his staff has been pleasant. Dr. Geurkink is patient, kind and takes the time to listen to questions and concerns. Katie, who works in Dr. Geurkink's office, is always extremely cordial and knowledgeable. The office staff always return calls promptly. In the many years that I have been to Dr. Geurkink, only one time did I have a problem with a pair of glasses, and it was a defect in one of the lenses. The problem was addressed and resolved promptly, and the staff took care of everything for me.

Great optometry office. Dr. Guerkink is so thoughtful and experienced, and always makes sure my thoughts and questions are answered. The front desk and technicians are also very kind and helpful. Really nice modern, upkept place.

Horrible service. Completely unprofessional. Changed my appointment time to a month later, which was fine. Sent numerous reminders of new appointment byvtext and phone call right up to the day before. Drove 70+ miles to my appointment to then be told "Oh your referral is out of date. You aren't covered. Do you wanna pay out of pocket?" Claimed they didn't know about it until now. When pointed out they should have, they then claimed they never knew who my insurance was through. When told THAT was not true because my insurance paid for my last visit, they claimed they didn't have a copy of my card. When my wife pointed out THAT was a lie because we could clearly see the photocopy of my card in the file she had open, she closed it quickly and said "All I can tell you is you don't have a referral for today Whataya wanna do?" Drove over an hour to get here. Waisted time, gas and money. Would never recommend. Absolutely abysmal.

I've been a patient here for years, I usually have zero problems when I come here. Usually the staff is exceptionally friendly & I love Dr. Geurkink. I came in recently to pick up my contacts & mind you it wasn't busy at all. There were no patients anywhere. I came in and there wasn't a, "hello" or anything welcoming. When I walked up to the front desk, they didn't ask me how they could help me. One of the receptionist was on her phone & just looked at me. The older one assisted me. I told them I came to pick up my contacts. The lady brought it out to me and told me it there was about a $200 copay. She didn't check my insurace or even looked into the system. I usually pay zero dollars in copay. I ALMOST paid the copay but then I asked if my insurace didn't go through with it. She then goes on the computer for a minute and what do you know??? my insurace pays for all of it. ZERO COPAY. They almost charged me $200 worth of contacts that should've been $0. THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES. Please, train your employees better. I love being a patient here. And this should not be a problem.

I have been going to Dr. Geurkink for about 18 years. After that long you would expect something minor to have happened but no, I have never had a mishap and never been treated rudely. The only thing I could've have said was grow and make your selection larger and they have recently done that. New and bigger location. I will probably continue to see Dr. Geurkink until he retires.
