Wise Eye Associates

My husband Buddy was seen here yesterday for an urgent issue with his eye. The staff was very friendly. Dr. Saumur saw him, and went above and beyond to find out what the issue was, and even caught something else his optometrist did not. I see people complaining about wait times, but due to my experience, it seems to be because the doctors care about their patients and take their time looking into the issues instead of shuffling patients in and out of the office. This was a great experience and we will be coming back if we ever need it in the future.

I love the eye doctors and techs but I am giving them this rating because I have made 3 separate attempts (over a 3 week period) to talk to the office manager about what I think is a mistake in my bill. Each time I am told Jennifer will call me back that day but I have never received a call.

I found the entire staff to be very helpful and kind. I am trying to wear contacts and have not had much success. They have been more than helpful! Amy, Amanda and Dr Ray have been fantastic. My experience has been wonderful.

They are outstanding and I recommend anyone to go see them. My cataract surgery was perfect.

If you want service this is not the place for you if you want prompt this is not the place for you if you want to be treated indifferently, in a manner which is hostile then this is the place you need to go. If you want to see people be aggressive then by all means come on in. I grew up at Pearl Harbor Naval base and Hickam why does that matter well when your around the military your whole life some of the cultural norms seep into your language, like D being delta B being bravo and T being tango. As I called out the letter bravo tango foxtrot the doctor became angry and said in a loud angry voice WE ARE NOT DOING THIS TODAY JUST READ THE LETTERS I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!! her face was visibly shaking she was legit angry like triggered angry like Her dad must have been military and gave her a whoopin of a lifetime triggered angry. it was not hey could you just read the letters its easier for me, or i am sorry but that confuses me, nope.... It was clearly angry I havent seen a womans face shake like that in anger since tik tok and Trumps election. I said your right we don"t have time for this I am done. she sat and and said yes we are done like she now needed to make the decision I had already made and her face it was still shaking visibly. I mean this chick was pissed. The sad thing is this isnt hyperbole and she has always been terse and i just thought maybe she isnt that sociable and kinda shrugged it off but she is not just terse or an abrupt personality she is an angry person who can"t find a more ethical way of communicating. she could have said this so many different ways without being angry and obtuse but she picked this way of communicating. Which demonstrates a lack of control, professionalism. I can't put any faith in some one who blows up on a stranger at the most innocuous thing as using call signs to designate a letter because culturally that is what they were used to doing. Thats like getting mad at a Texan for using Y'all or a guy from New jersey saying yous guys its just the lexicon of language they are used to using in its natural form. but to be so angry to be visibly shaking at the use of language is a whole new level of Karens gone wild unlocked. I injured my eye at a golf tournament recently (branch in the eye). I went to the er in a pretty good amount of pain and was referred to this office. They got me in within hours of calling. Doctor was great, got my eye some medicine and patched me up, immediate relief. Fast forward a month and when I went to wake up one morning my eye lid scratched the spot on my eye that had been injured. Thinking the pain and redness would go away on its own, I dealt with it for a few days. After it didn't, I called Wise Eye again and even though they were booked for the day they were able to squeeze me in. Doctor came in, and like a badass she cleaned my eye, and put some kind of contact in it (this part is important because I'm extremely squimish when it comes to my eyes). I walked into the clinic that day ready to scratch my eye out, it was so annoying and in so much pain. As I was walking out it was 100 times better. This place is great and the doctors know what they're doing.

I visited the clinic twice with my son, and i can assured that the doctors are great, kind and very professional. Some of the front desk secretaries are just mean and passive aggressive. I will never come back to this clinic, not because the doctor, but because the way i was treated by 2 of the front desk girls. Also wait 45 minutes for the doctors (my son was seen by 2 different great doctors, both were women)
