My vision had changed dramatically over the past year so lens replacement surgery became the best solution for me. They walked me through the process from beginning to end. Two weeks now with the "new eyes" and I can once again read without readers and my distance vision is improving almost daily...
It does take some time for the old brain to adjust to the new lenses. I would do this again in a heartbeat! Thanks to Dr Luke and his wonderful team.
Every year, my vision progressively worsened. It got to where I struggled to read, even wearing my glasses. I had lense replacement surgery yesterday (both eyes). At my followup appointment today, my vision is 20/25. I can read regular and small print. I am amazed and grateful beyond belief. 10/10 recommend. The staff and doctors are awesome and the technology is state of the art. They really care, and are excited to see the differences they are making in people's lives. Edit 11/17/22 1week post-op vision is 20/20 in each eye and 20/16 all together! I continue to be amazed and grateful!
Staff & doctors are great. I was a LASIK patient 25 years ago. I started relying on readers so when I started hearing the commercials to get rid of readers - I went with Vision 43. Due to previously having LASIK- I was not able to have the multi focal lenses. My initial lens replacement was in January & they are still tweaking my vision & I still have to wear readers. Dr Luke has said we are not out of options - so hopefully I will be a success story. The one thing I would recommend if you are not able to do multi focal lenses - I would first try the mono focal contact lens to see how you like your vision before doing a permanent lens replacement.
I am two weeks post-surgery, and I could not be happier with the results! My vision is better now than it ever was with contacts or glasses. I was incredibly anxious about the procedure, but Dr. Luke and his team were reassuring, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Five stars for sure.
My experience with 43 Vision has been pleasant from start to finish! My first impression was a very friendly front desk who's cheerful attitudes really set the tone for my overall experience. The technician that measured my eyes was pleasant and very thorough in making sure we got perfect images and measurements on every machine. Knowing that my sight would be forever effected by the quality of his work I was truly pleased to have someone that was determined to get it perfect no matter how many tries it took. The eye doctor was straight forward about all the pros and cons and encouraged me to ask any questions no matter how trivial I might think they were. My surgeon (Dr. Luke) is so intelligent and articulate that I KNEW everything was going to be fine. After we met in the pre-op, I was so happy he was going to be my surgeon. The procedure was completely painless. Actually the entire experience was painless. And the result have been amazing! I was 20/25 (corrected) before the surgery. My left eye was 20/70 (CORRECTED) and 20/400 (uncorrected). My vision is now 20/20 (after 1 month) and my left eye is 20/50. That's crazy but it's really better than that. What they can't measure on the charts is the new way I see the world. Colors are sharper and brighter than they used to be. Every display I have used (phone, computer,...etc.) has always had the brightness set to 100%. Now I turn my brightness down to 40%-60%. This may seem like a small thing but Mother Nature has always been muted by my sight but I never knew any difference until now. Sunsets are brighter, sharper, clearer, more colorful. And I promise nature is so much prettier with the brightness turned up! I wish I had done this years ago!
I had LASIK done at Clearsight/43Vision back in January of this year, and unfortunately my vision reverted back to nearsightedness pretty quickly afterward, which apparently only happens in less than 4% of patients who get LASIK. I'm a professional photographer, so my vision is especially important to me, and the setback definitely had me pretty emotional and stressed, but Clearsight/43Vision was fabulous and had my back every step of the way, providing me with temporary glasses and having me routinely come in for vision checks until my vision stabilized and I could be cleared to have an "enhancement" (revision). My revision was done early in the summer, and after my vision stabilized, my overall vision came in at 20/12! I highly recommend Clearsight/43Vision to anyone wanting to be free of glasses or contacts. A friend and I were going through our LASIK journey at the same time, and he also had some setbacks with his vision after LASIK, but his eye center (in a different state) could have cared less about his dissatisfaction with his eyesight, so definitely not all centers are created equal.
I'm a 70 year old retired dentist. I spent 50 years of my life behind glasses, wiping smudges, soothing sore spots under nose pads, dealing with light glares. Finally things started getting dimmer and I discovered I had cataracts.
I visited Dr Brown at 43Vision and she told me I could eliminate all of those inconveniences, have distance and close up vision with 1 simple procedure. That was exactly what happened
Today I am glasses free. My only regret is I wished I could have spent more of my life glasses free.
Thanks Dr Brown & 43Vision.
The tech was so kind and patient, and everyone talked me through all my options every step of the way. Surgery was quick and completely painless, and after a nice nap when I got home, I could see things I wasn't even able to see while wearing glasses. It's incredible being able to see. I've enjoyed swimming with my kids the most - I can see them easily, without having to wear glasses in the water. It's very hard to tell kids apart when they're all in water with wet hair, and I've always felt a legitimate concern for their safety if I can't see them well enough to recognize their faces, but now it's easy to see them.

43Vision is a vision correction center that specializes in helping people ages 43 and up get rid of their readers and bifocals.
