Boaldin Eye Care

After seven years of having the same eyeglasses and contacts prescription, I needed to have my annual exam. Although I loved my previous doctor, they no longer accepted my insurance so it was time to find a new one. Dr. Boaldin was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to try the office out. The receptionists on my first visit were friendly, but it was easy to see how frazzled they were due to the amount of people that at least walked in (even if it didn't result in an appointment). Their friendliness and professionalism impressed me. When I finally was in to see the the optometrist, I was in and out in probably 15-20 minutes. After seven years of having a stable prescription in both my contacts and glasses (only being nearsighted and having no other problems helped), I was told that my vision had worsened by a minimum of a -1.0 point in each eye and that I had astigmatism in one eye. Although surprised at this due to the fact that I could still use my old glasses just fine, I went to fill out my prescription at a nearby Lenscrafters. I finally got my new glasses and was not able to use them at all. I tried for two weeks to wear them, but was not able to comfortably drive, had massive headaches, and my depth perception was not accurate. I went in for two more visits for both new contacts and new glasses. These visits were free, but each time the friendliness of the staff grew less the more I came in to adjust my prescription. I have finally given up on receiving an accurate prescription from this office. I have glasses that I cannot wear and contacts that are accurate in one eye and not the other. Others have had good experiences, but I have not. I will continue searching for a good eye doctor and will continue wearing my old glasses until I find something that works.

This is my second "unscheduled" visit to Boaldin Eye Care but I was able to see the dr within 15 minutes, both times! The staff works efficiently, they are extremely knowledgeable, professional and they explained everything with a smile at all times. Within 40 minutes or so, prescription in hand, I walked next door and was able to purchase my glasses... it is so convenient! Oh, and the hours are great too... Yes, I will be returning!

First time to visit and loved Dr. Boaldin. Friendly and Funny and Informative. Even when he had to get on to me over my bad habits with my contacts. Some of the staff were carried over from the previous clinic and they are fantastic as well. The wait can be long because they accept walk ins but I found it to be worth the wait. I'd recommend them to anyone.

It was absolutely wonderful. The wait wasn't long at all. I've been there twice once for me and another for my sister. We had different people administering our actual exam but both wear nice and very accurate. I strongly recommend Boaldin Eye Care.

I went in Nov 2015 due to a yellow bump in my eye that turned out to be scleritis. After I religiously did the steroid drops for a wk, the problem still persisted. I called and that same day they saw me right away, free of charge. They were really nice and so helpful. I truly recommend!

Chris is probably the friendliest and most social optometrist I've ever met. I've been a patient of Chris's for 2-3 years now, and every visit has been very informative.

The Doctor here was very rude.he would not prescribe the same prescription ive had for a few years now.he took my prescription down and I cant see hardly as good.find a doctor that cares about your eyes,not just your money.he was very rushed and It was a complete waste of my money.

Would not recommend..most expensive eye exam I have ever had..didn't mind expence but had to go back 2 time because my prescription wasn't right and still isn't, I have had better results from wal mart eye exams.
