Dr. L. J. Greenhaw

I had a great experience with the doctor and office staff, even though I had an evening appt on a Friday -- I'm sure everyone was ready to go home. Dr. Greenhaw spoke at length to me about my son's eye condition, even though I was there to get an eye exam for myself and my son is not a patient. He gave me suggestions, draw diagrams, and even recommended another doctor who could help my son. All was above and beyond.

After reading multiple bad reviews I almost didn't make an appointment with Dr. Greenhaw's office, but I decided to try it anyway. I am glad that I did! Everyone I came into contact with here was very kind and professional! To the person who says they felt dooped b/c of a $25 eye picture charge, there are 2 forms that you fill out and it was clear as day (maybe not if your prescription needed changed ;) ) that they would take the eye pictures and some insurance may not pay, so you needed to sign to have it done. It was even highlighted on the form. Not hard to miss. I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Greenhaw for any future eye exams and would highly recommend his office to anyone.

We initially met Dr Greenhaw at the mall location a couple years ago, then we started seeing his son when the practice got moved to the midtown location. We adore the doctors here, they are great with my kid and the staff was very helpful in finding us glasses that fit our budget and spent quite a bit of time making sure we got everything we were looking for. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Terrible experience. Made an appointment with Karen by phone. Arrived on time a dark hair lady snapped at me and said we need you to feel this out. Left me waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment. Took me back for tests prior to the Dr. visit she asked me my date of birth again, I told her it is on the form, started to tell her again the date, she interrupted me an told me I had a bad attitude. She has to be mental to talk to someone like that. Ugly. I ended the visit and went to another eye doctor, they are much nicer. She must be related to the eye doctor to get away with talking to people that way. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE Unless you like being treated bad. :)

Due to the negative comments here, I went in to this office expecting to be treated poorly. They were very busy, but we were treated with courtesy & utmost professionalism. The doctor was seeing my daughter who was getting contacts for the first time. He spent extra time with her, explaining the workings of our eyes and making her feel comfortable. Then the girl that taught my daughter how to put in, take out& care for her contacts had a whole lot of patience with her and was as sweet as could be! I'm glad I gave this place a chance! We will be using them in the future!

I've been going to Dr. Greenhaw for the last 20 years. They are very nice to me. They are very professional. Dr. Greenhaw is very thorough and he always takes the time to explain everything to me. He's a super nice guy. I can't imagine what all these people are talking about because I go once a year and I've never ever had a problem at Dr. Greenhaw's office. And I will go back as long as Dr. Greenhaw is there. I travel 70 miles to get there and there are a lot of other doctors that I could see that are closer to home but I really like Dr. Greenhaw and his staff.

I never say the Dr. because of the office manager's rude attitude. My insurance coverage said there was $20 copay. Reception told me it would be $69 because I had not met deductible. I verified coverage and was then approached by manager who just told me Dr. was a Specialist. I said I just wanted an eye exam. He is a Specialist...in a rude voice and without any explanation. Don't need the attitude, so I cancelled and left.

Let me preface this by saying that Dr. Greenhaw is a sweet man, a nice enough eye doctor. However, if you make an appointment, you should not have to wait for over an hour to be seen! Then, the front staff are extremely unapologetic about how they have absolutely wasted your time, and not concerned that they have lost a loyal customer. I have gotten my contacts here for awhile and it is consistently bad. I have a lot of patience. I also work in Healthcare, so I understand when the staff is having a bad day, so I gave it time. Also, for the past 2 years they have had this TERRIBLE ringing in the office, like tinnitus x 15, that you can't get used to. Like, fix that already! The frame selection is limited as well. People, go SOMEWHERE ELSE. Don't waste your hard earned money here. The only 5 stars given here are probably from staff members. Look alive.
