Dr. Lucas Trigler, M.D

He was an amazing doctor for my one year old. He was so gentle and amazing with her and she was so comfortable with him and I trusted him to do her strabismus surgery and he did amazing!!!! Forever grateful! He knows what he's doing when it comes to kids!!

Dr. Trigler has been an angel for us that last 4.5 years. My son was born with a vascular birthmark so we had to watch his eye for glaucoma. Dr. Trigler was kind, gentle, thorough and relieved so much anxiety. Of all the doctors we've had to visit, he is at the top. I wish there were more kind and qualified doctors like him.

Dr. Trigler is AMAZING with my five year-old (who has been seeing him for several years); he has performed a few minor surgeries on my son and has been terrific and caring throughout. He doesn't push for unnecessary surgery, and offers suggestions and ideas. Great "bedside manner"! Clinic has a cool, large aquarium that the kids can walk all around, which they love. We've gotten glasses here for my little one three times, and have always received excellent service on the optometry side.

My family has come to him for years. When i was younger, along with my two other siblings. He did two corrective eye surgeries on my brother after another doctor messed his eyes up after giving him the wrong prescription. His eyes are great, now. Still needs glasses of course.

I was referred to Dr. Trigler as he specializes in the surgery I needed. I'm 43 and it's more prevalent in children vs. adults, hence going to a pediatric ophthalmologist. Dr. Trigler was fantastic. Took the time needed to test, explain, and answer any and all questions. His nurse, Ashley was great too. The procedure went perfectly and recovery has been better than expected. I was apprehensive going into my second surgery ever, but 100% satisfied with Dr. Trigler!

Dr. Trigler is a remarkable doctor and truly has a heart for kids. He just did surgery on our 15 month old and we felt so comfortable with him from the very beginning. The patience he had with our daughter at the initial appointment was a true testament to the kind of doctor he is. We never felt unsure about the diagnosis or procedure. Dr. Trigler is someone we will refer friends and family to as long as he is practicing.

The rheumatologist thinks my daughter has the eye disease sjogren's and so she sent a referral to childrens eye care to get the test done to see, we went 1.5 hours away to go to this doctor for this test, I even called to confirm they would do this, we get there and all the dr wants to do is change my daughters eye glass prescription which the endocrinologist said not to for 6 weeks cause my daughter was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and that has been messing up her vision till it gets more under control, he wants to keep saying he thinks her eyes are just bothering her from the diabetes or lupus she has, also tells us the eye dr before him was way wrong on her last prescription, we said no he did good cause prior to that she couldn't see good, after he changed them she could, it was only a week ago that her eye vision got like this which is sepperat from the other issues her rheumatologist wants them checked for, long story short, we never got the test done and he was a know it all and didn't listen to anything we said, or perfume the simple test the rheumatologist needed so now we're having to go elsewhere, will not recommend or go back!! Update a year later, we did not change prescription strength like this dr said, we have had regular eye exams and her eyes have went back to what they were previously before being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, so thankful we didnt listen to this joke of a specialist, he should have known better, I would definitely stay clear of him

Great Dr. My daughter has seen dr triggler since the day she was born 9 + years. He was at Dean McGee but moved to childrens eye care. He was good enough for me to follow him 20 miles further. Highly recommended.
