Mc Bride Optometric Clinic

I've been dealing with this clinic for about a month. My sister had a retina detachment and had to go to the er since her doctor was out of town. OU er sent her here for surgery (OU owns McBride). I have no problem with her Dr. but the staff is extremely rude and seems to think you are a bother being there. When you make your appointment just be prepared to be there at least 4 hours or more. I told my husband last night that if my eyes were hanging out of the sockets to take me anywhere but McBrides. I would like to give a minus stars but that option isn't available.

Dr McBride is sometimes dry but an excellent optometrist. I have been going there about 15 years and never disappointed in the service or care received!!

I've decided not to return to this office due to repeated experiences with the doctor being dismissive and unprofessional. While we overlooked the behavior in the past, today confirmed that this is not the right environment for my family's care. Fortunately, there are many other eye doctors in the area, and we will be seeking care elsewhere.

I just called to make an appointment and see if they accept my insurance and the lady was very rude to me. When I asked about my specific insurance. She told me my insurance did not cover an eye exam which they do one time per year along with contact lenses and or glasses. She said she was unaware of that. She also told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and hung the phone up on me. This place seriously cannot really be in business if we're answering the phone and speaking to potential new patients and the manner that this lady just spoke to me. I did not even call back because I don't wanna do business at a place like this

I went to school with Scott McBride, he was a fine young man back in the day. He has become a very fine knowledgeable eye doctor. He took the time to clarify step by step what is going on with my eyes. He recommended certain eye drops for me that forgetful me had forgotten. So while at the store I called him, he took the time to talk with me and help. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Awesome staff, friendly and accommodating. Doctor was very knowledgeable and funny.

Love this dr office, currently waiting for my glasses now. Doctor is very thorough he even let me slightly adjust the dials myself when I struggled to communicate which was the best for me. I would suggest this eye doctor, he has a passion for his work. Even though he might seem kinda strict but he does have a humerus bone and will make jokes to lighten the mood. I appreciate the staff as well, they were silly and made me have a good time. For a person who's trying to get their life together the judgement free zone and the amazing vibes these women bring as well. I will continue to go to this clinic for my eye care.

I was wondering if y'all take Human insurance (looking for eye doctor for my son) please help if you can thank you in advance (can y'all add a working website?)
