Snowden Eye Care

I have dreaded taking my children in for their vision appointments for the last 4 years. Their previous doctor was rude and would get frustrated with my youngest, we were never greeted in a friendly manner and had to wait over 2hrs after our schedule time to be seen. Our experience with Dr. Snowden was completely different. Dr. Snowden and his entire staff are professional and friendly. He is very patient with kids. We were seen at the time we were scheduled and the office is very clean with the staff taking proper precautions to keep everyone safe.

They were my Dr. but I retired and they would not accept the new insurance so I had to go to another Dr. I had purchased an expensive pair of glasses from them so I wanted to have the lens replace and they refused because I had a different Dr. Well I hope you take this advice BEFORE having them make your glasses!!!!

1st things first. I'm a newly diagnosed Diabetic. I reported this to the doctor and staff. They were in such a hurry that I did not get to test them properly. Couldn't see squat. And told them in their lobby. I was sent home any way. Got 3 blocks away and was scarred to death. Turned around and went back in telling them I couldn't even see the street signs or the lights at intersections. They told me my eyes would adjust. Two weeks later I still couldn't see. Again was told my eyes needed to adjust to the prescription glasses. IT NEVER HAPPENED. Why did they not let me into the back office to read the eye chart? Once my diabetes was under control for a while, my eyesight became much, much better. I can now see almost perfect without glasses. Still using cheaters for reading only. The eye doctor, knowing I was a new diabetic patient, should have refused service for a time. Family doctor told me the optometrist should have known better and should have waited a couple of months. I purchased every thing, top of the line, that they threw at me. Darkened for sunshine, trifocal etc...the better most folks can afford. Them glasses have been sitting in the case for months. I see a new optometrist in my future. Wife just came home from the same optometrist and again they didn't test her in the back. They had her look around in the lobby which is a small lobby. Inside that lobby, everything looks good. Problem is we don't live in their lobby. We live in the real world. Also, they refused to give wife a protective glass case or even a cleaning cloth. This is twice they have screwed up. They simply don't care. Recommendation: Find Another eye doctor. You don't want these people. They still haven't tried to correct. As for me, they should have followed up to see if I was okay. Why? They are after the profits, not the patient. In my opinion, the doctor isn't even aware. It' s the front end people. But I don't know. So we've spent our eye care for the next two years. Smh......

I am thoroughly delighted with the care and support from everyone at Snowden Eye Care. There's no words to describe just how amazing this experience was.

Absolutely love coming here! They're so friendly and knowledgeable and I get my glasses and contacts here for years. The only down side is the hours of operations are so limited it's hard to make it here if you have work, and it's caused me to have to go somewhere else. ):

Just picked up my new glasses earlier. The frames lady who had attitude with me when I picked out my frames turned her back on me in her chair when I asked if they needed to be adjusted. Candy and all the others were amazing. The frame lady not so much.

Went to the eye doc for the first time in years. Dr Snowden is very nice as well as his whole staff. I'm going to continue to go here. They were all super helpful
