I walked in to make appointment and they took me straight back for the eye exam. It was awesome! They had me in and out in a matter of minutes. I purchased contacts and glasses at a lower price than I spent on just contacts in the past. I was only going to purchase contacts but the price for both was unbelievable. The associate helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. I cannot even begin to say enough about how much I appreciate them. I can see!!!! I definitely recommend this location!

I did a Google Search for walk-in eye exams. Made a few calls to find that some had no Optometrist on staff; What? You advertise walk-in but exams are only available on certain days and specific hours.
At Stranto Optical, with hybrid Optometrists always available,
I made online appointments. My husband and I had same day exams, back-to-back, in the early afternoon. We were greeted and taken care of by Jose. He was quite professional, friendly, and patient. The only difference was the Optometrist was not physically present.
With the pick of four walls of glasses, it could have been an overwhelmingly long search. Brandi saw the colors and shapes that caught my eye. She matched my tastes with the best shapes for my face.
Stranton Optical, I-240 has a great team in Jose and Brandi. Whether insurance or out-of-pocket, I highly recommend this location.

Why only one star?
(1) first appointment Jan 23, 2025. Didn't finally get glasses until end of April 2025. Process too long.
(2) had to go 3 times for eye exam
(3) paid for bifocals, but eventually just got regular lenses
I was VERY VERY disappointed with the service. The first time I came in, Jan 23, 2025, the system froze and I waited an hour because "It shouldn't be just a few minutes. We are working on it". I left and rescheduled. The 2nd appointment went ok. The salesman talked me into bifocals, "upsell". I bought 2 pairs, one sunglasses, one regular. When I came to pick up my glasses, only the regular ones were ready. but I could tell something was off. Employee said wear them to see if it works out, maybe because of bifocals. I kept for a week tried once or twice, but felt blinded by them. At least one of the lenses was off center; it was terrible! I went back, and they did a new exam. The prescription was different than the first time. I told them NO bifocals this time. Yes I finally got both pair of glasses at the end of April 2025. 3 months after my first appointment.

Couldn't be happier with the service from Marshal and Ian. They were incredibly professional and genuinely nice people to deal with. They made the whole process smooth and completely stress-free. Definitely my first call for any future needs.

I made an appointment for my husband because he desperately needed new glasses. The staff was friendly and attentive but their prices were very misleading and the first quite fie the glasses he picked out was almost $700 dollars. The shock on my face was so noticeable that he found a discount to get them down to just under $600. Now the frames were not the low end but even at two hundred it was buy get one free. If they gave us a copy of all the charges we didn't make it home with it. I also need an eye exam and contacts plus glasses and I WILL not be going there except to get a copy of the charges so I can file a claim to my health account to recover the costs. My husband does love the glasses and for that I am grateful.
