Dr. McCrackin and her team are phenomenal. She takes time during her exam and in explaining results. The selection of frames is amazing and the office overall is very comfortable. I spent the majority of my visit vibing to the amazing playlist. 10/10 and will continue to refer everyone I know to this office!

Another great visit at The Oculist. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Each step of the smooth process provides another patient and personable professional to assist. A big shout out to the young lady that takes on the daunting task of helping me pick out frames each time. She's so thoughtful and makes the selection process easier each time I go. I don't feel rushed at all. I highly recommend this office for your optometry needs! I couldn't ask for a better experience. 10/10 no notes.

I'm sharing this review based on communication and billing clarity, not the quality of care itself. After some clarification, it was confirmed that Dr. Elizabeth stated my Thursday appointment would be a continuation of my original visit and would not require an additional copay for the exam. I was also informed that there will be a $35 copay for visual field testing, billed through my medical insurance. I appreciate the follow-up and clarification, though the process was initially confusing. I had asked directly during my appointment whether there would be any additional costs and wasn't made aware of this at that time. Being told one thing and then later learning about additional testing charges made it difficult to plan financially. That said, I'm looking forward to receiving the care I need and genuinely hope communication between team members continues to improve. Clear, consistent information is so important in patient care, especially when it comes to insurance and billing. I'm hopeful for a positive experience at my upcoming appointment and will be happy to update this review afterward.

This was my first visit. Everyone was very nice. They had me in and out pretty quickly but not rushed. I will definitely be back for my next exam.

If you are looking for a professional and welcoming optometrist, look no further. The Oculist has exceeded all my expectations. This was the one of the best patient experiences I have ever had. The doctor is thorough, professional and efficient. All of my charges were explained to me by the front desk. Everyone I encountered made me feel like I was at home. I was welcomed with a smile and left with a smile. Dr. McCrackin, Olivia, Makenzie and Jaden all know what they are doing! I will never go anywhere else for my eye care needs! Thank you ladies for making my experience an amazing one!

This was my first visit. I was looking for a new optometrist closer to my work and this is the perfect place! Up the street and all of the staff was amazing! So polite, friendly, and professional as well. Happy I found them and have a new place to go.

Very welcoming staff for a new patient visit! They were patient, kind and knowledgeable and also helped me weed through the insurance coverage to provide me options and pricing. Would highly recommend!

Edit: since they want to call me a liar here is a screenshot of my conversation with them about this very topic. They literally refused to give me my prescription and let me go buy from someplace else. Also, how disgusting and unprofessional to completely deny this and call my a liar when it absolutely happened. Gaslighting your patients is not a good look even if they are your old patients that no longer come to you because you pull shady moves like this. Original review: The Oculist will not disclose to you that they will not release to you your contacts prescription at all even though you paid for the test. They will refuse to give you your prescription and will tell you you have to buy contacts through them. This is highly illegal and super sketchy. And the fact that they don't tell you that they will withhold the prescription from you until AFTER you've already done the test is gross. Also, the options of contacts they offer to choose from are awful and left my eyes burning and/or seeing double vision. I still can't get over the fact that they charged me for an eye test - specifically for a contact lens prescription - and then refused to give me my contacts prescription and cited their "policy" to buy through them.
