Took my grandma to her first eye appointment in a good while after a bad experience with a different eye doctor. We were both absolutely blown away with ALLIE she was so diligent, observant, pleasant, and patient with my grandma! She really made her feel comfortable and I believe that's a God given talent ! She stepped out to get something and my grandma said I really like her and I said I do too . Thank you so much for taking time to help us today.

Not happy. Was told I needed to see their opthamolagist dr Sylvester before the optomatrist visit. They collected 2 copays for him who I never saw and one from the optometrist. What should have been one visit to Dr Mayes and one copay they collected 3 copays for two visit, Contacted my HMO who referred me and they were displeased. Also had a difficult time retrieving my prescription from the eye glass shop attached which was run by her husband.

Dr. Mayes and her staff are nothing short of amazing. They are kind, patient and truly care about the well-being of their patients. This is one of the best doctors I (or my family) has ever seen. If you are looking for an optometrist, you will not find better than Dr. Mayes. I drive an hour to see her and would drive much further to get the attentive care she and her staff provide. 10/10 recommend. I cannot say enough good things about every single one of them. I wish there were more providers like her. Her husband Dane runs their optical department and his attention to detail is superb! I am so very thankful for this office and the exceptional care they provide.

We've had a very disappointing experience with this optical business. When I mentioned that I wanted to purchase my son's glasses elsewhere, the staff member insisted that they offer free repairs no matter what. My son's glasses broke at the hinge after he accidentally fell asleep wearing them. When we brought them in, the staff member was noticeably rude. Instead of replacing just the broken hinge, he removed the entire temple arm and replaced it with a mismatched one. About two weeks later, the plastic on the frame snapped while my son was simply resting his head on a pillow. Due to the poor customer service I previously received, I asked my husband to handle the repair. The same staff member admitted to receiving several complaints about that particular style of glasses, but then told my husband it would be $20 to fix them--despite previously claiming repairs were always free. When my husband reminded him of that, the man became aggressive and raised the price to $100, saying he could charge whatever he wanted. In contrast, my son's $16 glasses from Payne.com have lasted far longer than the $200 pair we purchased here. The customer service at this location is consistently poor, and the sales pressure is high. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Mayes was excellent. I had an urgent issue with my eyes after cataract surgery, performed out of state. She was able to get me in immediately, took so much care in guiding me through the healing process, with follow up appointments to insure I was healing properly. I can't thank her enough. She went way beyond the call to help me. Big shout out to Dayne for his help as well. Now I have a great pair of glasses that I can actually use!!! Thank you so much!

Dr Mays is wonderful. She has been my doctor for 15 plus years. She is the reason that I can see today! Sometimes I wait longer than I planned but I know she is thorough and will get to me and I will get the same treatment. Came on soon. Fire condition hasn't working tonight
