If I could give no stars, I would. I've gone there for years, but with my most recent visits, the doctors have stopped listening to me. I've tried more than one doctor there, and I keep getting the same result. They want to push you into procedures before they're necessary, and won't listen to you when you tell them what you need. They don't care if it's your eyes or not, they know it all, and if you disagree because it's your eyes and your body, too bad, Was forced to get second eye appointment when everything could have been taken care of with the first. If you're looking for an eye doctor here in Albany, find somewhere else, even if you have to go to Corvallis.

They want a 24 hour notice if you cant make your appointment, but they can call you 2 hours before your appointment and cancel it, after I Took the day off of work because they had to dilate my eyes. I drive a semi truck I cant drive like that. I lost a days wages for them, never go there again!!!

I've been here twice. Almost everyone is very nice, however, last time I came in I left worse off than if I'd not come in at all. After an eye exam I wanted a very minor adjustment to my frames that I've been using for years. I mentioned it only needed a very minor adjustment. In their attempt to mold the frame they snapped it, opted to try and fix it, looking worse and fitting worse than when I came in, then subsequently damaged beyond repair on the third attempt. This was a nearly perfect fitting, comfortable (rare find for me), and sentimental pair of glasses. Rather than offering a discount on a new set of frames or even a free pair for breaking mine, I instead watched my favorite pair of glasses broken in front of me, more than once. The subsequent customer service I received was horrendous. I sat around an extra 30 minutes to receive my previously pristine, and newly destroyed, glasses back. I also heard two techs in back colluding about telling me my glasses were "brittle," but had somehow lasted me years with heavy use and falling off my face (6'+) onto hard ground on more than one occasion without even a scratch. Honestly, the worst customer service I've ever received, by a very large margin. I have never had someone destroy my property in front of me and offer no recourse. The tech even had the audacity to be mad with me after breaking MY glasses. I didn't care about them cussing out of frustration at all, but I did care about the attitude I received after having my property broken in front of me with no recompense. I tried to be polite as possible, as I now drive home with my glasses dangerously falling off my face. The tech managed to break my glasses not once, but twice. Once during my request for a very tiny adjustment, another while trying to fix them. I deeply regret asking for any assistance as they fit fine, they were just barely loose. I didn't want them to slip off my face during heavy activity and risk them taking damage. Rather ironic... This wasn't an issue with my glasses. This was a skill issue with an overly hasty performance, likely because I was encroaching into lunchtime as it was dead quiet in the office. Once again, these glasses had been super durable with me for 2 years or more. My experience here was appalling. I came in just to see if my eye health/vision was the same and left several hundred dollars in the hole. I would never recommend this facility to anyone I know. I have spoken with many people in the area about this experience and they are mortified and furious for me. I will vehemently recommend to everyone I know that they should stay as far away as possible from this place if they value their belongings, and I will explain my indignation at the lack of respect and courtesy I received. Addendum: The owner reached out and provided some recompense for the service I received. I still won't be returning, but I respect the business ethics of the owner. My event is hopefully a very isolated one and many may have good consecutive experiences at this clinic.

Dr. Adams and every person that we interacted with both doing our intake and at the front desk or absolutely phenomenal and I am a very difficult person to please. They were absolutely incredible with my four-year-old and made her feel comfortable and safe. They made her first eye exam a breeze and I absolutely appreciate how they showed her respect, kindness, and consideration. They were very thorough with their exam and put my mind at ease with all of my mom questions.

The doctors are nice but the staff have no idea what they are doing. We always have problems with orders and they are not helpful. My last straw was billing me an additional $20 after I spent over $500 because their optician submitted my insurance incorrectly. They waived it after I said something as I know how to read the EOBs correctly but it concerns me at how many people they probably do this to.

I have been going to these folks for years and I have always been very happy with their service. Recently they went above and beyond their usual greatness. I had a pair of glasses that I got in October and I had not been happy with them from day one. I brought them in to see if I could pay for different frames and have the lenses transferred. They would not let me pay, and they insisted on getting a completely different frame at no cost to me. I am so thankful to them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for r glasses or contacts.

I have been coming here for several years to see Dr. Berry and the amazing Albany Eyecare team! Had my annual exam today and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! Especially Megan who helped me select my new frames and answered my questions! Love Albany Eyecare!!

My family and I have been patients at Albany Eye Care for quite a few years now, and we couldn't be happier! We are always welcomed with a friendly greeting and the clinical staff and doctors are just as fun and friendly. We love the advanced technology that the doctors use. Most importantly, we LOVE the great selection of eye wear!! Keep up the great work, gang!!
