Walmart Vision & Glasses

If you leave your glasses with these people make sure you get paperwork! They lost my frame and I asked them to go back through the cameras and they are lying for them! They supposedly do not show me coming in a second time which I absolutely did! So be careful. Not happy at all!

I stopped in tonight with my 6 year old to see if they could thread a screw more securely into his frames. They took their time to ensure they did the best job possible. They were extremely friendly and happy to help free of charge. There were also a great deal of really affordable frames we could browse while waiting.

The date of my first visit was early January and I was amazed at how knowledgeable and professional your staff was when I went to look at glasses. Not only do you have a wonderful selection, but your staff is the best at what they do. Jonathan was the first person to approach me when I went into look at glasses. I told Jonathan that I did not need help yet and that I would let him know if I needed any. Then five minutes later, I wanted to help, but he was with another customer. Karen was the next associate to help me and she was just as patient and knowledgeable as Jonathan. They were extremely professional and friendly. They did not act like I was wasting their time even though I told them, I would not be purchasing anything that day. Great job. Thank you so much. Your staff are the only reason that I chose to come back on another day and buy glasses. I never dreamed that I would ever trust Walmart with my eyes. But you have gained a customer from me.

To put it short and sweet, I had no complaints at all with my visit. Called this place up for an exam and new glasses, and the staff was super friendly. They had all my information in no time, and despite the holiday rush, the doctor was thorough yet straight forward. I was in and out, and I got my glasses in less than a week. I highly recommend this place, and I'm definitely getting my next exam here

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here at the off office of Jeffery Thomas O.D inside of the Albany Walmart at the address of 1330 Goldfish Farm Rd. SE. Albany OR 97322. We walked into Walmart and we were immediately greeted and asked if we would like to make an eye exam appointment. We of course said yes please Because unfortunately my eye sight has been absolutely getting worst and worst as I get older ... I sat down to Make an appointment snd the doctor came out and said actually if you're ready right now I have an opening and you can come back right now if you'd like! So I said heck yes!!The appointment was super easy, painless and the doctor was very friendly and informative as was his entire staff was My initial Exam was only $179 snd that was for both contact lenses and glasses. The whole exam took approximately 20-30 Min snd when I walked out I was already fitted and in my bran new Contact lenses and could See so much better it was insane! I then went and picked out my frames for My glasses and within ten minutes my entire exam was to all Done, my glasses and 6 month supply of lenses ordered and I was on my back to give shopping! Definitely best eye exam I've ever had. I recommend them to any and everyone!!

I came in because my glasses were bent. The staff helped straighten them and also helped me get an appointment with the doctor! I got a new prescription and a better outlook on life. Thanks Albany Walmart vision department!

Doctor talked me into different contacts when I should have stuck with my previous brand and would not allow me to get my previous brand for my left eye with the astigmatism. Instead wanted me to pay for a new appt. I do not have insurance all paid out of pocket. Not happy or impressed

The early part of January 2023 I stopped by Walmart to get a vision test and upgrade on my glasses. During the exam I was told I had burst a blood vessel or capillary behind my right eye. That was the reason for the millions of black (nothing racial) dots I was seeing. Dr. Thomas referred me to a doctor in Salem. I am currently being treated by that doctor. I was able to go ahead with ordering my new glasses while being treated in Salem. I would like very much to commend both Johnathan and Colin for the handling everything at the Walmart vision center. I was notified of every turn in the process of getting my new perscription which I picked up a couple days ago. Would I go to see Colin or Johnathan again, absolutely. Semper Fi.
