Dr. Coutant's office was great to work with. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Coutant was thorough and very patient, as were his staff. I even ended up bringing my kids to him as well, and was impressed with how well he worked with one of my kids who isn't always able to be verbal.

Do not go here unless you want to be taken for your money. I paid for glasses and contacts and because I didn't live in the city they are in and couldn't get up there all the time. I am a disabled person and don't drive a lot so the few times I was able to go to Eugene, they were closed on a Thursday and it just so happened my next trip was on a Thursday and that is when I realized that it wasn't just a weird close date that once, it was all the time. I was working with trial pairs and then I had 2 deaths in my family that took some time and was in different states to help. In this time I had called twice and never received a call back. It has been less than 8 months and now my far vision in my glasses is wrong, I can see better without them. I just got off the phone with the office and she told me I was out of luck. I guess i only had 60 days to get my contacs in order and I am just screwed when it comes to my glasses. I was still working with the Dr after 60 days with my trial contacts becauae they couldnt get the vision right and wasn't told a thing then. But now that I need the service I paid for and never received. She told me I could repay for the same service if I had another $250. I scraped together the $525 for glasses and contacts earlier this year and won't be able to do that again for a long while. Please spend your money elsewhere and get better customer service.

I saw Dr. Coutant today for an eye exam. I could not be happier with my experience. Dr. Coutant is very professional, knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions and concerns thoroughly. He is extremely patient and truly cares about his patients. I was kindly welcomed by Lisa who explained all the procedures prior to seeing Dr. Coutant. A very positive experience for sure.

I have been going to Dr. Coutant for nearly a decade and the service I've received has been professional, friendly and very caring. He always takes the time to answer any questions I have, his staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and even when I had to go to his office because of an irritated eye, they were able to get me in with short notice and help me out of a very uncomfortable situation. If you choose this doctor, your eye health will be in good hands.

Dr Coutant is fabulous. He answered all my questions and was very professional. I had major eye problems as a child and had an eye surgeon for my eye doctor for years. My eye surgeon passed and I moved to Coutant. I have been with Dr Coutant for a few years now and satisfied with his knowledge and ability.

Dr Coutant forged a prescription to "prove me wrong" forgetting that the evidence are my eyeballs I see through. They ordered the wrong contact prescription, and would not refund the money. To prove that the second appointment I had a .50 discrepancy in both eyes. I had it adjusted and tried on several contact brands, and they ordered the first prescription not the adjusted one. Then doubled down and said it had improved another .5. Then YELLED at me , told me I was wrong. I went to another Dr. Got new prescription (yup came back the same as adjusted one) and nothing. He could not be wrong! And still no refund. Good luck!

Dr. Coutant is so kind and patient with my young daughter every time! He never rushes through our appointments and always takes the time to make sure we both feel heard! He's very thoughtful and wonderful at what he does!

I came into eyemart express on a Saturday to have them fix an arm on my old lenses. I noticed that the doctors office was open on Saturday and headed over to see if my insurance would let me bill for an exam. The two helpful lady's let me know I was due. I asked for a next available Saturday appointment. They said they could fit me in same day at 12! I was stoked and then quickly forgot I had my 6 month old daughter and no one to watch her if I came in at 12, they were so sweet and said I could bring her. They did all the pre exam stuff while I was there to get that out of the way before the doctor saw me at 12. Doctor was sweet and didn't mind my little munchkin being there. Very quick and accurate prescription. Went next door to eyemart and got a new pair of glasses all in the same day.
