This is the 2nd appointment I have had with this Eugene Vision over a two year time frame. I have had both doctors and they are great! Staff is so friendly! Love going here, and will continue to do so. Thank you Doctors and staff for being so AWESOME! G Schumacher

Great office and professional staff. Dr Cuevas was very thorough in explaining the process. Sarah was great! She didn't rush me and helped me with picking out frames. She gave good input and was a joy to work with. I purchased from a discount superstore last year and felt rushed and unhappy with the experience and did not have anything explained to me. This was a really positive experience!! I will come here every time I need new glasses.

Took my son there for an eye exam because his eyes were bothering him. The experience in the office was really good. A few months later we get a bill from them that is more than triple what it should have been. The reason they give me for this that because my son had a medical exam instead of an eye exam, they have to bill it differently. Neither my husband or I were told it wouldn't be a standard eye exam. It feels like shady business practice to just switch services like that and not tell the patient or, in this case, their parents.

Fast, friendly and very knowledgeable! Dr. Cuevas explained everything well, and he appeared passionate about what he was talking about! Overall a very good experience! The woman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful, very warm and welcoming. Sales crew were outgoing and friendly, really knew what they were talking about. I worked with Heather. She was fantastic! Funny, friendly and helpful! Great staff!

I have worn glasses for the past 20 years so annual checkups have become routine for me. Since they are annual, I never had a particular allegiance to one location as doctors seem to come and go and frankly a year is along time to build any type of relationship. I just recently relocated from Naples, FL to Eugene, OR and needed to schedule my annual exam. Since the office at 400 Valley River is only minutes from my office I scheduled an appointment and was able to conveniently get in that afternoon. The first set of tests were very thorough and included a number of intricate photographs of my eyes. I was then taken to an exam room where I met Dr. Ron Cuevas. He spent time reviewing my on-boarding patient checklist and then asked me questions about my current eyesight, etc. He then went thoroughly through a number of tests before determining my current vision status. He then went on to review in detail each of the photographs that were taken only minutes before. Once complete he spent time discussing his prognosis and prescription. One of the most thorough exams I have ever been through and appreciated every moment. Dr. Ron has a great personality and a real professional. I have no relationship with any of the above, just passing along a really positive experience so that others can make an informed decision about their next exam.

Dr. Cuevas is patient, soft spoken, thorough, and knowledgeable. I liked that he gave me my contact prescription to fill anywhere, no sales pressure to fill prescriptions internally. Also, he asked if I had considered other services, such as glasses or eye surgery, but again no sales pressure. He just offered information and referrals for things I was interested in. Their office also has a new piece of equipment to replace the one that blew that big puff of air in your eye. So great! Easy to get an appointment. Office staff is really nice and helpful. They'll bill your insurance for you. No negatives to going here.

If you need the services of a qualified and competent OD, then consider going here! From entering the store to being seen by the doctor the process was pleasant and enjoyable. The exam itself was completed in a timely manner and the results were thoroughly explained. The doctor took time to go over the results of each portion of the process and he explained how the results differed from the previous exam. I will definitely return the next time I need new glasses and an updated eye exam.

Dr Cuevas has been my Dr of optometry for decades. He saw me through many prescription changes as I aged and recommended cataract surgery on both eyes when the time came. His follow up after the surgery was excellent, as his services always have been. He answers all your questions! Outstanding provider!!! Dr Rocket Turner
